Scarborough Inn was a very cute & cozy place to stay in Ocean City. The owner/host was always there greeting guests and mingling. Staff is very friendly. They had fresh baked cookies, coffee and tea in the afternoon. It is very walkable to restaurants and the beach. Rooms were clean and updated. Would recommend.

Lovely, relaxing weekend

The staff are top notch. We felt instantly comfortable and charmed by the place. The night we arrived, they put some out cold beverages and cookies. We were exhausted from driving, so just being able to chill on the porch after checking in with a beverage transitioned us from "travel" mode to "relaxed" mode. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast both days was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway!

The rooms were really comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were very nice as well. There were little things like cereal, tea, coffee, popcorn, oatmeal, available at all times. The breakfast in the morning was good. The outdoor patio was wonderful to relax on, and there were interesting books to read and antiques everywhere. The staff were all so incredibly helpful and friendly. Sne, Monica, Dawn, and Jackie, and two young ladies who served us at breakfast were awesome! There was even a happy hour every night where some light alcoholic beverages and sodas were put out. Really nice place where I would stay again.

Everything was so clean. I sat down to read the paper. and a gentleman came up and asked if I would like breakfast. I asked what it was and I believe it was pancakes and strawberries. I said no and asked if they had eggs. The gentleman said I will see what he could do. The next thing I knew. he showed up at my table with a plate of eggs. Who does that.

I'm not a B&B kind of guy, but the room itself was super modern like a clean modern hotel (a high end one!). Powerful A/C, gorgeous modern bath with super hot water, TV, sound isolation from the other rooms, and even A/C in the hallway to get to your room. You never get that in a B&B. But the rest of the house was a gorgeous old Victorian home with a huge patio and old artsy stuff all over. The owner lives there and treats you like visiting family. One night he put a bucket of beer and wine on the patio for his guests for free to share. Who does that? This owner. Loved this place. 3 block walk to downtown shopping, 3 blocks the other way to the beach and boardwalk. Seafood restaurant on the next corner, ice cream shop across from that, bike rental shop 1 block away. Amazing location!

If the rooms, location, and cool, retro vibe weren't enough, the service was incredible! The Innkeeper, Sne was such a friendly, helpful, and gracious host and while our visit to Ocean City was all too brief this time around, we will definitely return to The Scarborough Inn soon! The renovated rooms have been done with incredible attention to detail all the way down to the decorative filigree on the bronze sink stopper … clearly, a lot of care and thought went into the design and build of the renovation and helped make our stay incredibly comfortable. Meeting other guests on the front porch, many who have been coming here for years was a highlight and demonstrates how well Sne and his team take care of their visitors. I cannot recommend this place enough … you will NOT be disappointed!
