The Pinnacles were extremely clean and the views were amazing. Staff wonderful. It’s up on a very steep hill so if you don’t have a car you will probably need to go back on fore in a taxi. A very lovely 2 bedroom with full kitchen and washer/dryer. Walkable (down hill) to restaurants and shopping on main road. However going back to your room, you will be walking up 2 steep hills. My husband had to uber up which is totally fine. Ubers are definitely cheaper than a taxi. Thank you to Lee at the reception office who was so kind and helpful. She will drive you up to your room upon arrival with your luggage. We ate dinner at KC’s bar and grill and we enjoyed their food.

Best accommodation in Airlie

We absolutely loved staying at Pinnacles. We received a lovely welcome on arrival, the room was very comfortable and well equipped. A really nice touch was the chocolates, cheeses, biscuits, dip and beer/bubbles waiting for us in the fridge! The highlight has to be the amazing view from the balcony. Only downside is the steep hill and driveway if you are on foot but we decided it was worth it.

The property is nice, clean and if you happen to stay in a penthouse, the views and the hot tub are an added bonus. However, I would not rank it as a 5 star resort. It is a self catering resort and lacks amenities that you would find in a hotel such as service and dining with limited reception hours. Overall okay but perhaps would stay elsewhere next time to get a personal service.

The staff members looked after us throughout our stay at the Pinnacles Resort as they did everything to make our holiday much easier and carefree. Some visitors reviewed noted the Pinnacles located at the very top of the hill, the only way to get there is a long steep road. Personally it is not a big of an issue, a taxi ride from most parts of Airlie is always below $10. If it has a 180 view on the very top of Airlie beach why would one even complaint?

10/10 Exceptional

Really enjoyed our stay. They room was clean and tidy and beds very comfortable. Pool was super relaxing and peaceful. Our room was up at the very top so was a climb to get there and my sister was unable to walk the next day due to pain in her legs, but the view was amazing and she came right after some rest. Tour bus and bus transfers were only able to drive us to the bottom of hill so we had to climb the hill of a driveway and stairs a few times. We were able to get taxis when going out for dinner. Resort is close to shops and restaurants however still needed to use taxis for the driveway as the climb became too much especially after a day in the sun. They do have a golf cart to help with luggage during office hours but we did find after hours took awhile before we were able to get any help. All in all we all enjoyed our stay and the place was clean, amazing views and people were really lovely.
