Charming suite.

We arrived in mid afternoon and were warmly greeted and welcomed. We were told about the room and then made our way. The property is convenient to everything being right downtown next to restaurants, coffee shops and retail. The room was clean and most everything we needed was there. Staff were friendly and competent. The property is older but clean and we were sad to leave having enjoyed a wonderful sytay.

The location was very convenient for shopping, restaurants and the Four Mile Beach. All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Very helpful with organizing a tour to the Daintree rainforest which was just a short drive away. No elevators but staff carried luggage to the room and were very friendly

Beware Cockroaches! This hotel was an absolute nightmare. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our vacation, we spent the entire stay battling cockroaches in our room. It was disgusting! We found them everywhere – the bathroom, the bedroom, even crawling on the walls. We contacted the hotel staff, hoping they would address the issue, they sent someone but also told us that cockroaches were common and basically "the norm". Seriously?? If infestations are a regular occurrence, they should at least warn guests beforehand! To try to minimize the impact, they actually told us to go have a look in the car park and see how many cockroaches were there. Like that's supposed to make us feel better?! To add insult to injury, when we asked for some kind of compensation for this horrendous experience, the staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They actually hung up the phone on us when we called after checkout! This hotel clearly has zero respect for its guests. Avoid at all costs! I would never recommend this place to anyone and I certainly won't ever be staying there again.

No elevators but good location

This is not a hotel but a small apartment unit. We had a nice unit with view of trees and the flying foxes(bats)! Amazing. Not so amazing was the absence of elevators, no daily cleaning and only one soap bottle in the bathroom which bothered me ( you need to remember to take it out of shower and put back by sink. I asked for another but was denied) Did love the location on the main street.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this property. The property is very nice but they have a major construction going on next door. Construction workers start working 6 am promptly. So, if don’t wake up every morning at 6am please stay away from this property.

Staff are soooo friendly. Property is lovely and wish we’d booked for more than 1 night. It is right in the centre of Port Douglas with cafes and restaurants right at your doorstep. We had a room facing the street which may not be every bodies prefence but great for people watching

Absolutely brilliant location in the hear of PD. Had been going to stay at one of the 5 star hotels on the outskirts, but that would have meant shuttles in and out all the time, so this was way better. Really comfy bed, and good kitchen facilities, not that we really used them. Would just have liked a couple of dining chairs for the indoor table. Lovely pool area. The reception staff are warm and welcoming, and extremely helpful. A very relaxing old school holiday vibe. Would definitely be my first choice for my next visit to PD.
