Weekend at the beachfront

This place was so great for a quiet getaway. The Ambassadors made it so easy. We enjoyed most of the food a lot, but did not prefer the dinner menu at the in-house restaurant and had a bad experience with the Sushi restaurant next door. Everything else was wonderful.

Amazing boutique escape

Absolutely delightful stay at the Beachfront. Quaint resort with only 42 rooms, but all the amenities and services one would expect at a five-star resort. The benefit of the boutique atmosphere is the attention to detail and level of service the staff provides. They knew us by name, quickly learned our preferences, and were incredibly attentive in all the right ways. The property and beach are immaculate and with all-inclusive access to the much larger sister property next door, there are plenty of dining and entertainment options. With our next trip to Playa del Carmen, we won't be searching for a resort as we know where wi will return to.

The Beachfront by The Fives was just what the doctor ordered! It doesn't look like much from the front, but once you turn the corner and head up the ramp to the open air lobby, you will see that it is a beautiful place! It is directly on the beach, although the beach is rocky and sea urchins were common, so swimming at the beach on this side was not recommended. That is literally one of two reasons why I rated this hotel 4 stars rather than 5. The other reason is that the property is pretty secluded, so the area around it does not offer any easily accessible sightseeing or shopping and taxis are pricey getting around. HOWEVER, if you just want to relax with delectable food, amazing cocktails, a superb staff that caters to you and access to a larger resort property right next door with more dining options, a slightly better beach, entertainment and an outstanding spa- all accessible by golf cart upon request- I say GO!! I had an amazing time. The service was top notch! Even the Thanksgiving meal was delicious. Oh, and don't miss the fresh cooked to order seafood lunches! SUPERB! I loved that the all-inclusive is a la cart, not buffets and the bar is top shelf. I literally cannot wait to get back!

The Fives Hotels & Residenceの離れのようなホテルです。Adult onlyのため静かで落ち着いた雰囲気です。目の前のビーチは地元の人も出入りするため賑やかですが、ホテルエリアは静かです。お料理も大変美味しかったです。途中、部屋の設備で少し問題がありましたが、すぐに対応してくれました。ホテルスタッフとのやりとりは基本的にWhats Appのチャットを使うので、non-native speaker的にも助かりました。 The Fives Hotels & Residenceの施設やアクティビティも利用できます。アクティビティはいろいろあり、大体どれも1時間のようです。ヨガとスキンケア、Meditationに参加しましたがなかなかよかったです。 ちょっと奥まったところにあり、また新しいホテルなのか、ツアーや送迎サービスのドライバーによってはBeachfrontのことを知らないこともあるのでThe Fivesの方でピックアップ/ドロップオフしてもらうこともありました。 落ち着いた雰囲気の場所でリラックスしたい人にはおすすめです！

This was a very tranquil and relaxing experience. We loved the smaller adults only atmosphere, being able to rest and relax with a great deal of peace. It was wonderful having all the amenities and restaurant options just a three minute walk from our property. During the day, we would walk over to the other property to work out and play tennis.In the evenings, the sister property had fun entertainment options each night as well. The sushi and Thai restaurants were our favorites, the Italian restaurant was good as well. We would highly recommend for adults who want a laid-back and quiet atmosphere.

Amazing a la carte all inclusive

Amazing hotel! It’s the sister hotel to the Fives beachfront hotel, and was bought recently. I think it’s a great place to go if you want an all inclusive but calmer vibe, we visited the sister hotel a few times for meals but much preferred our hotel! The food was excellent, the lunch menu was my favourite and the tasting menus are really good quality. 10/10 recommend!

The side of the hotel is small, intimate and perfect. The rooms are great size and the resort is quaint enough where you feel you’re in a boutique setting. The sister property is a quick walk along the beach or by tram, where’s there’s more restaurant options, bars and families. The service on that side was lacking in comparison. Would definitely come back to the beachfront side again

This place is exquisite and only for people that appreciate exclusivity, excellent food quality and great service. Do NOT use the duster property as you will be very disappointed. Again I repeat if you like huge resorts with booming music and lots of people don’t come here. If you appreciate luxury and fine dining along with peace and tranquility you will love here. Only missing point would be additional music in the evenings. Bar staff and top shelf liquors are the best.

The service was fantastic and prompt, food and drinks were good. We rarely had to go to the bar for a drink because we were served by the pool / beach. Gustavo and Jennifer were great in the restaurant, Jorge at the pool was exceptional. Our ocean view room had a great view and was clean.
