Our stay at Bauma was absolutely incredible. This was already our third visit, and honestly, the place continues to surprise us every single time. The villa is spacious, modern, and fully equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. Its contemporary architecture beautifully contrasts with the breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano, creating a relaxing and unique atmosphere surrounded by nature. One of our favorite features was the seamless integration of the kitchen, dining area, living room, and private pool. The entire space is thoughtfully designed to enjoy quality time, relax, and make the most out of your vacation while still feeling completely private. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, including one with a desk setup that is perfect for remote work without sacrificing comfort or the amazing scenery. The bathrooms are truly spectacular — spacious, beautifully designed, and they add an extra touch of luxury to the entire experience. Another standout feature is the private parking and the villa’s capacity for up to 6 people, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. Bauma continues to exceed our expectations, even after visiting multiple times. If you have the opportunity to stay somewhere centrally located, beautiful, modern, and with incredible amenities — whether in a villa or a loft — don’t think twice. This is the place to book, and you definitely won’t regret it. We are already looking forward to coming back again soon.

Phenomenal and one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect for those who seek privacy and quiet yet still close enough to the town and stores/restaurants for convenience. It felt more like an upscale Air B&b than a hotel. Keys are in a lockbox at your assigned unit upon arrival. We stayed in a Loft and loved it. Spotless clean. We used the small kitchen every day for breakfast and some dinners. The Loft has three outdoor seating areas! Two upstairs and one on the lower level with a hot tub. From the upstairs areas we saw a toucan, howler monkey, and various birds. The bathroom is large with all amenities. Free parking just steps away from the unit. A grocery store is a short 8 minute walk away. And centre of town is only 30 minutes on foot. Only criticism is there could be a few more hooks in the hallway for wet jackets. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My stay at Bauma Hotel was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, it felt like my own private oasis. The hotel’s location offers breathtaking views of the volcano, creating a stunning backdrop that made every morning and evening unforgettable. The room itself was comfortable and beautifully designed, but the shower was the true highlight, so relaxing and luxurious that I genuinely didn’t want to get out. It became one of my favorite parts of the stay! Another major plus was the hotel’s prime location. It was perfectly situated for exploring the town, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Overall, Bauma Hotel exceeded all my expectations. Amazing views, exceptional comfort, and a great location. I couldn’t have asked for more. I had an absolutely wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

La villa est vraiment extraordinaire. Ultra propre , neuf, belle vue , belle piscine , vraiment très class . Tout est parfait j’y retournerais n’importe quand . C’est bien insonorisé , sécuritaire , privé , et charmant. Apportez vos jumelles les arbres derrières grouille de toucans.

Honestly if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. It’s a 10 min drive to town, 30 min walk. The attention to detail here was amazing, the staff cleaned my room daily. The shower was SOOO hot and the private jacuzzi was used daily. If you want a relaxing, beautiful comfortable place to stay look no further. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. There is security on site and reception is reached through what’s app.
The bathroom products smelt amazing
Even the toilet paper had the BAUMA stamp.

We loved this hotel. Us and another couple booked our rooms here because we wanted to be close to town but not actually in town. The hotel communicated via WhatsApp and was responsive to everything. The bed was wonderful, so much so we took a picture of the brand so we can get one for our guest room at home. The indoor/outdoor shower is awesome. We enjoyed the rain coming in via the hole in the roof with the rain shower head. Parking was easy, security and housekeeping were friendly, and I liked just getting text the code for the lock box and getting the room key. The views from the sky deck were great when the volcano showed between the clouds. We sat on the bed outside in the rain and enjoyed some wine and just enjoyed the sounds of the jungle. We would 100% stay here again if in the area. Price was fair for what we got. Ac was cold which is a must for us. Hot tub was nice to have even tho we turned the temp way down so it was more like a refreshing plunge pool. Oh and they had ice in the freezer and refilled daily. Love us some ice.

The Bauma villa was clean, spacious and well stocked. It’s in a perfect location for exploring La Fortuna. We loved the privacy and the space we had for our family. Highly recommend for an alternative to a hotel stay.

Everything about the villa was 🔥🔥🔥, from cleanliness, amenities and staff. This was an amazing birthday celebration. I was able to have private chef, backdrop with balloons and a private musician come for my birthday. The villa looks exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend Bauma Villa.
