It felt like a safe room, though when we walked in it smelled heavily of cigarettes. Also, there was a diaper under one of the beds. It was a little gross but not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at for the price it was. The staff were very sweet and nice, helped with where to go for food and events happening. Free coffee in the lobby :)

Room was terrible. The bedding had burn holes. Bathroom had vomit splatter on the wall. Floor felt greasy/slimy. People block the stairs. I’m assuming the regulars that may stay on the property. They are also very loud.

First of all the gentlemen working the front desk was fantastic. Very nice man. I had a lot on my mind. It was not in a good mood, but he was very professional. The hotel room was clean. That's all you could ask for it's a great little hotel for the price. To the gentleman that was working the following morning during checkout if a guest talks to you and says good morning and you completely ignore them. That's not a good thing.

This hotel is exactly what you pay for, it’s not the fanciest, it’s not the most expensive, but the bed looked clean and organized. I did kill 2 cockroaches in my bathroom, but it’s the south and that’s not totally uncommon (I live in Florida). There was some discoloration near the shower area on the wall, and I’m guessing it was mold. The door seals were non existent, and there’s some road noise. But it’s a place to crash which is how we used it. For the positives, staff was friendly, tv was easy to use with channels. Bed was clean and ac worked. Location is close to the highway where you can hear it. Area around hotel is kinda sketchy but I felt safe and secure the hotel property.
