Was a perfect stay located near the train station and lots of bus stops around. It also had a few food places and little markets around if you need to eat or grab some to drink or snack on I was only here for a day and a half but would definitely recommend for anyone who wants something convenient and close to the city and airport.

The room and bathroom were sparkling clean. The bed was comfortable although the furnishings were sparse. Good to note, it is a third floor walk up. Also, the WiFi does not always work so be sure to have an eSIM card loaded on your phone. The guest house is located near good bus service. I did not use the Metro but there is a nearby station.

A fabulous place to stay, really close to several metro stops, we used Parque or Sao Sebastiao on the blue line. A really quick walk to Eduardo VIi park, which is stunning. There's some good places to eat nearby and at a fraction of the price of the city centre. There are supermarkets nearby and plenty of place in the shared kitchen to keep your purchases. There are 3 shared bathrooms, which were always spotless, and had shower gel, and shampoo too. It's on the 3rd floor, and there's no lift, this didn't bother us at all, but worth considering if you have a lot of luggage. I loved it and would definitely stay here ah6.

Would have felt much better with a fan in the room. With a shared balcony and a bed in plain view of the door, putting down the blinds was essential but cut off any air flow. It was stifling. I felt a bit uncomfortable without a safe for my belongings when I was out, which was only made worse by the fact all my food was stolen from the shared fridge and others could walk up to my room by balcony. Not a big deal, but without a plug in the bathroom, a small mirror in the bedroom would have been nice for when doing hair.

Research carefully. Read reviews.

The room was *incredibly* small. That was manageable. Standup Shower drained slowly and would’ve overflowed had we not lathered w/o water running. Linens not changed. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 night stay. Management informed. Nothing done to rectify situation. Neighborhood was quiet, safe, near subway, busses, food. Other guests were respectful of shared spaces .

It was a nice guest house to stay in clean, safe, good location at a reasonable price. I do wish they have a human receptionist at least during the day as just by text isn’t great if you need an instant query/issue answered. For example the toilet ran out in the shared bathrooms early in the evening so not having anyone on hand meant you had to wait until the next day once the cleaner came in to restock the toilet paper. This means several rooms sharing bathrooms with no toilet paper wasn’t good at all or pleasant.

Check in became very cumbersome! Being directed to a pay site for tax and damage fee as well as personal IF information. Needing access to SMS to complete. For international traveller this was costly to complete. $250 Euro damage deposit excessive! Uploading of property pictures at check in & check out excessive. Previous Expedia booking for accommodation not at all like this one!!! As for the room and amenities we were happy!!! Shared kitchen had all necessary amenities! Nice balcony but overlooked a part area for rental below. Wouldn’t book again because of the challenge to enter all required info. We booked only Wednesday for stay Friday and elongated checkin didn’t provide entry info until 10 minutes before arrival. Very stressful.
