Heartless, Greedy, and Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs (especially israelis)
I had a prepaid reservation at Grand Majestic Prague , but due to war in my country, all flights are grounded and I am physically unable to leave. On top of that, my mother is hospitalized during this chaos.
I tried contacting them through Hotels.com and directly,before my reservation date,with clear documentation and a simple request: show basic human decency and waive the penalty under these extreme, uncontrollable circumstances.
I even offered partial penalty.
Their response? No respons.
In fact even hotels.com couldn't reach them for days.
When they did answer hotels.com ,They refused to refund even a single cent. No empathy. No flexibility. Just cold, greedy opportunism.
If this is how Grand Majestic treats people in crisis, imagine how little they care about guests during normal times. They gladly took my money while I dealt with war and family emergency.
Shameful. Inhuman. Never again.
