The staff were all so pleasant. The grounds were very well kept and beautiful to walk through. We had issues with our room, only security with a master key was able to unlock our door. We were moved rooms but only after spending many trips back to get it all worked out. We were given a complimentary 25 min massage for the trouble, which was appreciated. The food was blah, would have loved to have some fresh tacos, food with some flavor and desserts that made me want two. The drink selection was generic but good. Loved the fruit smoothie stand. The pool music was not a party in Mexico vibe, although they were trying.Beautiful area and it was a pleasant weekend.

We’ve stayed at less expensive resorts and had better overall experiences, especially when it comes to food, activities, and evening entertainment. Most shows were underwhelming, with the Michael Jackson show being the only standout. The room itself was nice, but only double beds were available. We had two doubles and a couch, and the couch was surprisingly comfortable. Some areas appear updated, but storage was a major issue. What looks like a dresser is actually a solid block used as a room divider, leaving very little space to store clothes. The bathroom layout was great in theory—a large soaking tub, separate toilet, and big shower—but the shower did not drain properly. Water pooled during use, and despite reporting it three times, it wasn’t fixed until the bathroom flooded. Unfortunately, clothes we had stored under the sink were soaked as a result. I contacted the front desk and the supervisor was excellent. She arranged complimentary laundry service for up to 20 items, which we appreciated, though we still had to dry additional items on the balcony. Would I recommend it? Possibly. Would I return? No—not because it was terrible, but because it didn’t stand out compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at.

Room was great! Always clean and restocked with grab towels, beer, water! Staff at every bar was so friendly and helped out! Food was great. Never had a bad meal anywhere. Sometimes the main course portions are a little small but just order an appetizer or soup and you’re good. They cater to you when booking through Expedia compared to other companies. You get a different colour wristband and they know to look after you. I honestly wouldn’t book through another company knowing that.

We had attended Hydro Therepy at the Spa, however there were a lot of showers not working. The couple's massage at the beach was wonderful! No matter at which restaurant we ate at the food was great! The shows were amazing. Lots of places to eat and drink. The weather was good! We had fabulous vacation.

Beautiful property. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms and pool were clean and well maintained. The lazy pool was the best! The entertainment was top notch. The spa is worldclass. Seeing wildlife around the property was a plesant surprise. A shout out to the conceirge team and the ladies on the omlette making team - Always checking in and taking the best care of us! The variety of the food and restaurants was unbelievable. Great tasting too. Grand Sirens made our holiday an unforgetable one. Highly recommend this hotel and will sure to return. Thank you!

Overall the property was nice. Food was generally good, and there were plenty of things to do. Most of the staff were very helpful, and went out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. We did have a great experience with Hannah, but otherwise the concierges were a LOT of talk and few results. For instance, the motion-sensor light in our bathroom malfunctioned on the third day, and we talked to several different concierges over three different days who assured us it would be taken care of promptly. On the fourth day, it was finally the cleaning staff who gets credit for getting maintenance within 15 minutes. The sliding door to the balcony wouldn't lock, and they never did fix that after multiple requests. The concierge desks were often empty around mid-day, which is surprising for a property this large. One of the concierge managers (?) showed up and demanded mid-sentence to know why I was speaking Spanish to his staff. I take it he wanted to prove that he and his staff were competent in English (and functionally they were), but to challenge a guest who chose to speak Spanish (my Spanish is at least as good as his English), seemed to underline an attitude issue. We all have bad days, but this was over the line. My votes for improvements would be: * Have more functional motion-sensor lighting in the rooms * Offer more than Dos Equis beer (often flat), even if for a fee * Better availability at "themed" restaurants * Less pestering of Expedia guests (yellow wristbands)

Upon check in we were assigned a room with one bed when we specifically booked and then reminded again that we needed two beds. We got to the room and there were many ants all over the counters, floors, etc. They offered to fumigate the room which we declined and were reassigned another room with an obstructed ocean view which again we paid extra for. The A/C in both rooms was very warm which they stated the resort needed to upgrade the unit in that building. The dining was a challenge to reserve at the specially restaurants so we were stuck eating at the buffet every night which is only open from 7-10:30 AM 12-3 and 6-9 so if your looking to eat outside those hours your out of luck. Overall it was a bit of a disappointing experience. I would not return back to this particular resort.
