We had a very nice stay at the Lake House. It's not a chain, which we like, and the owner was there doing everything possible to make us comfortable. The dinner options are good, and the service was high quality. It's a good value for the price.

Beautiful view! Owners and staff and super nice. Comfortable bed and a view of the lake from the window of the room. Ate there several times for both lunch and dinners, trying different things, all which were great. Next time i plan on going to Cooperstown i will definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to my friends and family.

This place is so charming! It is cozy and rustic in all the best ways. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The owner is kind and a treat to chat with. Our room (Room 2/second floor) was clean and just as described. That said, if I stay here again, I will ask for a room on the 3rd floor as I could hear the family above me quite clearly. My family stayed in Room 10 on the 3rd floor and it was bigger and very quiet for the same price I paid for Room 2. Speaking of price, you really can't beat the price point for a stay here, very reasonable. I dined at the restaurant on property with 3 others and we all enjoyed our meals. The chef came out to check on us and we had a lot of fun joking around with him. I would recommend this place as a cozy retreat for a night or two.

Very convenient bed/dinner place for Richfield Springs NY as we were there for a funeral. A three story walkup with restaurant offering only dinner (good). Well kept, clean, quiet though currently work being done outside during day, ample parking. Fully booked for weekend weddings in October. Ample heating with electric radiator. No lock on entrance but we felt safe. Family owned and present daily.

Had the best time here. It was short lived but I loved every minute from the moment I walked in the door until I left. Beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant. The wine was reasonably priced; the mussels were great. My only complaint would be the last seating at dinner is too early (5:30) and the potato skins were way over cooked. But the service was EXCELLENT - a young man whose name I’ve forgotten. This is the most peaceful place I’ve ever been and the decor was historical with a nod to the nearby town’s baseball love. I stopped here on the way to Fenway Park - the oldest ball park in history so I appreciated this. There is laundry, a fridge, and a kitchen sink on site, and the room was charming. There were plenty of stocked fireplaces outside ready to enjoy, and coffee/water in the lobby. Reception staff was great as well. I can’t boast about this place enough and am highly anticipating a return visit.
