A atendente de recepção Edwige foi extremamente atenciosa, simpática e fez de tudo para tornar a nossa estadia mais confortável. Porém alguns imprevistos aconteceram; faltou eletricidade no dia de nossa chegada, tivemos que trocar de quarto. No segundo dia não havia café da manhã disponível, pois o restaurante contratado estava fechado por folga dos funcionários. Sugiro que seja contratado outro restaurante, que esteja aberto todos os dias, afinal pagamos pelos cafés da manhã. A limpeza precisa ser melhorada, o piso do quarto e das dependências comuns estava imundo. Sugiro mais atenção à limpeza. O hotel é muito bem localizado, mas precisa de melhorias.

C’est un hébergement à éviter. Les photos ne sont en rien avec la réalité. Extrêmement sale! Des poils dans les draps, boules de poussière sur les murs, trous dans les murs… Horrible service! Nous dérangeons le personnel à chaque question. Ça mérite tout simplement un remboursement.

Nous avons aimé l’aspect chaleureux de l’hébergement et son emplacement pratique. Nous avons eu de la difficulté à trouver un stationnement à notre arrivée mais nous avons finalement trouvé: nous recommandons le stationnement souterrain de l’hôtel de ville.

I would include several feedback here, but the most important point is the lack of service and reliability. My experience has not been good. The main complaint is that booking was made for 6 days with breakfast included. Breakfast was not included on one of the days, and the restaurant assured us that the hotel will issue a refund. I spoke to the person at the front, and she assured me that I would receive a $25 refund for the breakfast for my family that day. So far, no refund has been received. I have contacted the hotel two times, and I have not received an answer from them. Very disappointing. I am trying to find a solution via Expedia, since the booking was made through them, and they are telling me to deal with the hotel directly. Very disappointing from Expedia as well.

Nous avons dû aller au restaurant sagamité pour parlé à une personne car plus de personnel de disponible à l accueil après 21:00 car nous avions peu de chauffage dans notre chambre 470 nous sommes très déçu de notre séjour à cette hôtel et ce n était pas la première visite !!

For a last minute booking on a busy night, the room was decent. I had a room on the first floor, but had to go through hallways, up and short flights of stairs to get there. The room is at the same level of the parking area with the window facing the parking. The room is cute, basic with plenty of floor space around the bed. Bathroom is very small with just a walk-in shower and toilet. Sink is in the bedroom area. Shower is small and full of black mold. Floor of the bathroom you can tell was cleaned, but rather hastily leaving hairs in the corners and on the baseboards. Deadbolt on the main door did not work, the doorknob is self locking when closed but would rather have the added safety of the deadbolt to lock as well. Being a very old building and on the ground floor, it was a bit noisy. You can hear sounds from the neighbouring rooms as well as the water flowing when toilets are flushed etc. Luckily I had ear plugs with me which muted the noises and allowed me to sleep well enough. All white bedding and towels, bedsheets were clean and bright white, the duvet and towels did have a few small stains. Heating was comfortable, though to increase the heat it could take 40minutes to feel a difference.

The overall rating was poor. Primarily, the staff was unavailable. Finding parking was extremely difficult, and the parking staff did not speak English; the closest parking did not provide tickets but asked for a credit card to get in for later, finding no spots available and asking for a CC again to get out. Hotel wifi did not work, and phone service calls with staff always ended up in voice mail. No invoices were issued after checkout :( Quebec City was great for Christmas, though.

I booked two rooms at the same time, for two couples, months in advance. It was annoying that one room was on the ground floor, and the other one on the fourth floor. The ground floor room was OK, but not as nice as anything (to my knowledge) on floors 3 or 4, where I stayed before. The coffee machine in the ground floor room is under the TV, I don't know how anybody is expected to use it. For the other couple, the heat wasn't working in the 4th floor room, so they moved to the 3rd floor after freezing for a night. Lastly, there is a keyless entry at the main door, so keys are not needed, but their keys do not fit the door lock very well, it's a real struggle to use the key.
