The studio apartment was the perfect stay for our trip to Brussels. It is about a 25 minute walk from the Grande Place, but it has easy access to trains and buses to get around quicker. Even though the area is not necessarily the bougiest, it is very safe and everyone is nice. The staff was also attentive and made sure to check in if we ever needed anything. Overall, I would definitely come back and stay here again!

Great and comfy stay. Kitchenette and toilet well equipped. Hard time getting the hob to work but otherwise no other issues. Check in and key collection was smooth-you receive a code for the door and to get your key on the day you arrive.

Good accommodation in an unloved environment

The room was fine. No TV which we hadn't seen at booking. Once you have your entrance fob it was a little unclear where it went. Someone helped us. The arrival and check out time is later and earlier than other places (4pm and 10am). It is located in a very unloved environment. The front door is beside a cafe where the visitors use the front door step as a meeting point. They moved but it feels a little uncomfortable.

Nice clean spacious room with plenty of electrical outlets. It was a bit noisy outside during the day, but with the windows closed it was barely audible. Staff were easily contactable and responded quickly. A couple of criticisms would be the lack of comfortable pillows (I found them a bit lumpy and small), and occasionally the bathroom sink drain was blocked, leading to some unpleasant odours when not being used for a prolonged period of time. Overall, I found this to be a pleasant stay and would consider returning here on a future trip to Brussels.

Located in a bustling neighborhood during the day, we were surprised how quiet it got at night. Throw in the comforable beds and we slept like babies. Apartment had everything we needed. The owner connected with us on WhatsApp and was very attentive to our messages. The first few days we took the bus into town which was very easy. Then we realized we could walk there and it only took 5 minutes longer and saved us enough cash to buy a beer or coffee. Neighborhood was friendly and it felt safe. Only downside is the food stores nearby only carry African foods. They didnt have things like butter, eggs, cheese, bread, etc. But they had plenty of plantains, chili peppers, eggplant and other veg. It was a 15 minute walk to a bigger grocery store, so not too bad.

READ BEFORE BOOKING! The room itself matched the description on the website — it was clean, adequately furnished, and appeared as shown in the photos. However, everything else was deeply concerning. The area surrounding the hotel felt extremely unsafe from the very first moment. As soon as we arrived, several men standing near the entrance and along the street started watching us closely while we got out of the taxi and entered the building. It was an uncomfortable situation that immediately made us feel uneasy. During the short time we were there, we witnessed drug dealing taking place in broad daylight, and the overall environment felt threatening and insecure. For safety reasons, we decided to leave the property shortly after checking in. After we left, I contacted the hotel to explain the situation and to request a refund for the unused nights. The response I received was shocking — the hotel offered to refund a small portion of the total amount, and only under the condition that I do not post a review about my experience. This kind of condition is completely unacceptable and unethical, not to mention unlawful. Guests should never be pressured or financially influenced to remain silent. Reviews exist to help other travelers make safe and informed choices, and attempting to suppress honest feedback is not only morally wrong but also against consumer protection laws. Despite the room being fine, the hotel‘s reaction makes it the absolute worst I‘ve ever witnessed

What I like: the check-in check-out were easy. I got what I needed in the room especially in the kitchen--there was even coffee! Location is fine, nearby shops and railway station. What I did NOT like: 1) the deal promised check-in time 3pm then in the next email after I paid it was "automatically" changed to 4pm, same as the check-out, first was 11pm then changed to this--"(before 10 a.m. - except if you have taken the "late check-out" which allows you to leave at 12 PM.)"--seems like an unfair deal... 2)the staff sent email to ask my email address 2 times and must put it a certain way because some Expedia system problem--but hey, this is the problem you need to fix not me, please respect my time. 3)in the kitchen, the stove was really difficult to turn on, and once it got turned on, the pot was not heavy enough to keep on the cooking temperature, had to add weight to the top, which cost more time and trouble... 4)after shower, there comes the kind of foul smell from the shower sink and it lasted for the whole night....5)not a single trash can in the room, inconvenient...

Room and hallways were clean but the surrounding neighbourhood was extremely unkempt - there was garbage everywhere! The first day, I thought that it must be garbage day and that the wind had scattered pieces of loose trash, but it a was like that every day. The piles of garbage never went away. Once inside the room was quiet but the street was always busy. The cafe next door seemed to draw a large crowd at all times of the day and night. The culture of the neighbourhood is such that the streets and sidewalks are filled with men - rarely do you see women and if you do it is early morning or late afternoon with children in tow. As a woman travelling alone, it was a little unnerving to have to wade through the crowd to get to the hotel door. That said, I found the location to be convenient and close enough to walk (30-60 minutes) most places. There is a basic kitchen with a fridge, stove top, microwave and a kettle but **no coffee maker** (although there is instant coffee in a jar). In my opinion, the 4 pm check in time is too late and very inconvenient, especially if you are arriving from North America on a red-eye flight. There is no option for early luggage drop off. Overall, it was okay. The price per night was reasonable but it came with some trade offs.

This is going to be my first bad review and the only reason I’m going to do this it’s because I don’t want other people going through a situation similar to mine. The two days I’d stayed at one of the studios I have people coming in without me knowing it. It seemed like maintenance people or cleaning staff showed up to the studio 2 and I was never notified. I reported the situation to Maxime and he/she didn’t even had a clue of anyone coming into the studio for those two days. Maxime promised me that it wouldn’t happen again but it did and once again no records showing who it was. Also, they said they were gonna have answers for me before leaving the country but they never reached out to me. Thankfully I never leave anything valuable at hotels because otherwise this review would’ve been a harsher one.

The property itself is quite nice and my family and I were happy with it. The location isn't great--the neighborhood is questionable and there is a lot of trash on the sidewalks. Still, we weren't spending a lot of time in our room or in the neighborhood, so it suited our needs. My only complaint is that we were in need of additional towels and washcloths and we ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom, all of which I requested. The request was ignored.

The apartment is ok for a short stay , but the surrounding neighborhood is scary. The drivers we booked were hesitant in coming to the area. Some requested a nearby pick up. I asked one of the drivers if it was a bad neighborhood and he said it was.

I'm not a fan the fact the place has no staff (it's sign in yourself with a lock key system). The area it was in was a complete dump and frankly felt unsafe (at night). There was rubbish all over the streets, the pavements were badly damaged, the buildings are run down, graffiti everywhere, only very foreign shops operating and at night only men wandering around the streets.

The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. However, there was a small internal room accessed from inside the bathroom with a loosely locked door, which felt unsafe and unsettling at night. The building has no elevator. The surrounding neighborhood was dirty, with garbage on the streets, and felt unsafe; there were people loitering and drinking outside. Check-in was listed as 15:00 and check-out at 10:00, but after booking I was informed check-in would only be possible after 16:00 due to cleaning, resulting in a very short stay for a full night’s charge. Although payment was completed through Hotels.com, an €80 credit-card pre-authorization was required to receive the access codes. Twelve days after checkout, the amount has still not been released, and my bank confirmed it is not a banking issue. Communication with the host was limited to WhatsApp and slow; a question about parking fees was only answered after checkout.

This was by far the worst place we stayed at during our entire trip to Europe with family. The apartment was located in the middle of a dirty and unsafe neighborhood. There was no elevator, and we had to carry our suitcases up two long and steep flights of sharp stairs, which was incredibly difficult. The check-in process was horrible, no one was available to help us access the building. We were left waiting on the street for 20 minutes with our kids and luggage. Eventually, they sent a message and demanded an extra $20 for check-in at 3 PM, even though every other place we stayed had a standard check-in time starting at 3 PM with no extra fees. The studio itself was tiny, cramped, and not clean. There was barely any space between the bed and the kitchen area. During our stay, no cleaning was provided, and we were expected to take the trash out ourselves. On the day we checked out, they sent us a photo accusing us of not cleaning the apartment and then threatened legal action unless we left a five-star review. This was deeply disturbing. The staff and owners were extremely unprofessional and manipulative. Their behavior was not only unethical but also felt like a scam. We are writing this review to warn others, do not book this place. No family or traveler should have to go through this kind of experience.
