This was my fourth time staying at this hotel. It is incredibly convenient for my work in the centre of Stockholm, and once checked-in there is nothing really to comment on, everything works as expected; the water was hot in the hot tap, cold in the cold tap, good pressure from the shower. Wifi stays connected. The quirky decoration is quite fun the first time, but by the fourth you notice that the random bowler hat hanging from the ceiling is really rather dusty...
About the check-in though - as I said, I have stayed here four times now, and the app that is supposed to contain your key and allow for a seamless check-in has never worked on any of these visits. I can't fault the staff who have always appeared within a couple of minutes to by-pass the system and let me in and provide a physical keycard instead of the digital thing in the app, but the impression remains that the technology doesn't work and that maybe running a hotel without people isn't such a brilliant concept anyway. Also, when you are inevitably locked out and floundering on Kungsgatan, there is a number to call in the app, but there is no option to click that number or even copy the text to paste onto the keypad on your mobile. Infuriating to have to go back and forth between the dial pad and the app to make a phone call that you didn't want to have to make in the first place.
