Ely is a delightful small town. We came for the star night train ride and happened upon the road challenge race, so we had a chance to see them displayed. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the breakfast each of those days. The grocery store next door was super convenient. We are glad we chose your hotel and would choose it again and in another location. This was our first time staying at a La Quinta.

The hotel has seen some hard use and needs maintenance. For example, the bathtub was chipped, wallpaper was starting to peel at the edges, and carpet in the hallway stained.

All the staff deserve a raise, they were super helpful and friendly. The rooms were a little outdated, especially the flooring. The bathroom floor had cracks all over the place in our room. The carpet had lumps under it all over. The pillows were terrific!
