Don't come here

This was horrible! On a metal frame the 1 mattress was about an inch or two. Terrible sleeping. Breakfast was cereal, waffle ot toast. No fruit or juice or yogurt. You had to eat in a small area not take back to your room. Half of the ppl lived there, not vacationing. There was no place to hang clothes. The air conditioner in the room made everything feel damp. The only good thing was the staff. At least they smiled and said good morning.

Do not ever use this facility

Horrible Management called to cancel two hours prior to arrival stating they had plumbing problems and that there was water running down the walls. When I arrived I asked if they had any rooms available and they said yes they just had five cancellations. I then informed that it was my rooms that were canceled and I would like to have them. They then proceeded to tell me that they were available but at a higher price than originally quoted. They canceled our rooms so they could charge triple the original price. The original cost of reserved rooms was 220. They wanted over $600 for the same rooms for the same amount of time. They did offer to give us rooms at their Sister hotel, which was a night in completely disgusting and in a bad part of town. We ended up paying the extra money because we had no other options and the next day when I was heading towards the lobby, the room that was originally reserved in my name was being cleaned by the housekeeping staff so I peaked in and took a video there was no water damage like y originally claimed. They canceled my rooms solely to charge higher prices.

Uncomfortable

Hotel is clean and reasonably priced. Bed was terribly uncomfortable and the pillows were flat and filled with chopped up foam so they were lumpy. And as my husband put it the toilet is unreasonably short. Most likely would not stay here again.

Don’t stay in this terrible hotel

Booked on hotels.com at one rate , picked pay at property which was a mistake because they overcharged me and was not at all interested in refunding the difference Hotel smelled bad Room was dirty Stains on the blanket Fridge didn’t work, was iced up in the back Lamp on table didn’t work Talked to the desk 5 times about being overcharged They kept referring to the manager needing to refund me but he was not getting back to them I had hotels.com contact them and they assured hotels.com that a refund would be issued without incident upon check out They Lied Worst stay I have ever had in a hotel Dishonest Crooks I overheard another guest complaining about a similar problem with them Do not stay here, they don’t deserve anyone’s business 4 days after my stay , I am still trying to get resolve Not counting on anything at this point Stay away from here

Don’t choose this hotel!

Our stay in Racine was hugely disappointing! First, the room we reserved was not the room we got. Understandable. Sometimes when you use a third-party service, you don’t get the kind of room you’d like. When we got to our room, the smell of smoke overwhelmed us. We also had only one towel. A bath towel. No washcloths, no hand towels, no bathmat. We are carrying medicine with us so need a fridge to keep it cool in. There was a fridge in our room but no freezer for our ice packs. And no shelves in the fridge so everything just had to be thrown on the bottom. This was the only hotel on our 11-day trip which we were staying two nights at. It was so disappointing to spend two nights in a room like this! It was tiny! There was only one chair that was so wobbly it might break any minute. We went to Piggly Wiggly and purchased air fresheners. We put one in the bathroom and one in the main room. We left the bathroom fan on the entire time we were there to try to get rid of the weed smell. Also the bathroom light did not work. The light would only come on partially. However the next morning it came on all the way so I guess it’s a bulb in its way out. Final item—-the shower floor is as slippery as ice when you are done taking a shower! This hotel needs major updates/repairs and needs either more people working or better people working. Extremely disappointed in this stay!

The room was comfortable. The hotel is understaffed, the desk person took time off of mopping the entrance to check me in. The breakfast needed attention. The only coffee available was in a decaf carafe (orange top) that was on a plate with the heat off, so it was cold. The other carafes were empty.

Check in was at 3 but was told by front desk it wasn't ready and wait about ten min, not a issue as I've worked in the hotel industry in every position and was understanding. Fast forward to 315 and was able to check in with a new front desk person all were well and go up the second floor. Our room was the only room without a room number posted outside the room, we set our stuff in the room and left as we had activities planned for the day and when we came back and went to give our kids a bath the water pressure was awful but wasn't complaint worthy at the time when turning on the shower portion the whole shower head slid down the pole it was on and it happened constantly it was difficult for the adults to shower. When we got into bed we realized our sheets hadn't even been changed even though the beds were "made" up. Our sheet had something orange and crusty on it and our sons pillow had the same substance on it. When asked for new sheets the guy working the desk acted like he could care less. The lady the next day got us new sheets and pillowcases and she was terrific and was the only bright spot. Few other incidents but they were miniscule.

Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for

The pool was closed but we were not notified of that. The workout room had no working equipment. The door to our room was in need of repair on both the handle and the safety arm. The floors were not very clean--white socks turned very dirty. A better cleaning system is needed for the hard flooring. Breakfast was basic. A variety of bagels was available, however only butter and jelly were available as spreads--no cream cheese or peanut butter. No fruit or juices. Our mini fridge was not working when we got there. We were pleased with the service we received in getting a new one to the room.

It was a bit hard to sleep with a very loud family next to us. They also had the tv on all night. And, when we came in we were getting hit on. The second night was much better.

Everyone is lying!

Just gross! Small of cigarettes or mildew everywhere! Our door lock didn’t work so they did move us into an older room. Unless you are completely desperate, skip this place.
