We had such a great stay. So quiet and secluded in nature! We saw deer and many other wildlife on the property. Tons of songbirds and butterflies everywhere. Chipmunks! Only a 2 minute drive to the cute little town Marlinton which had anything we needed including some good little coffee shops and pubs. We even stopped eating out the last few meals so we could cook in the cabin and enjoy some meals in it. The cabin we had was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and enjoying nature. The hosts are very accommodating and had the cabin ready and spotless for us! Thank you Caley!!

Moore House was very easy to find. All directions and instructions sent by the owners were easy to follow. The room was perfectly clean and just what was expected. We didn’t meet the owners until the day after arrival. Very nice and willing to talk for a bit. Breakfast in the morning was just as described and the coffee was hot. We didn’t inquire about the hot tub, but it was present. After a couple of incidents from other guests, Caley was very calm and cool and ready to work with all involved to reach a good outcome. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The hot tub was amazing. The fireplace in the living room was amazing. We were perfectly comfortable the entire stay. Loved the views all around the cabin. Loves the proximity to town. New managers give life to an historic mountain Inn

Nice and historic Inn now operated by a young couple with a long history of inn keeping who are originally from the area. Very quiet and peaceful and well-located for our leaf-peeping expedition. We would definitely book there again if in the area.

The owners were wonderful—friendly and helpful, and since they live nearby, check-in was quick and easy. Lovely place, secluded in the woods. Nice porch for sitting on the main building. Note a lot of places to eat in Marlinton, but if you take food, there are cooking facilities, and fridge and microwave in some room. Not far to the bike trail.
