We had a wonderful stay at Tamarack Lodge. We stayed in the main lodge. It has a true rustic look and feel. The location is beautiful. It's very close to all the lakes in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is very nice. We plan to stay here again.

[EN] I believe that this is the best location in Mammoth Lakes! We loved it! Since the arriving the welcoming was so gentle. Michael, the manager, was so dedicated to ensure our comfort. We come here 1-2 times every year. If you want a cosy winter / ski experience, book one of the cabins. Amazin location in the middle of nature. Quite simple but with all necessary amenities. The restaurant is probably the best option in Mammoth, quite pricey though. Have drinks at the bar before.

I was the last cabin up the mountain with not very good access to my cabin couldn’t go to sleep because of the mice’s or other animals under the cabin eating at the walls bathroom was too small windows were closed and still got the cold wind also with the bottom of the main door

Beautiful location and the cabin had everything we needed. Friendly and responsive staff. Our truck battery died and the staff helped to provide a jump and then were very helpful around checkout timing.

Perfect size, very immersive in the surrounding nature. The cabins are pretty spread out making the space feel very private. Fireplace and small kitchen makes it perfect for two! Just be mindful of walking through snow from the parking lot!

Keep in mind the Lodge is 101 year old all wood building. Excellent dinning room and a nice continental bk. Above all the staff is 5 star. Bruce, Dave, Donald, Michael & Aldo.. taking care of your needs.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while on a ski trip to Mammoth. It was everything we needed! Room was on the smaller side but it was a perfect size for two people. We stayed in a room with shared bathrooms and never had to wait for the bathroom. Overall, the place was pretty clean and had everything we needed. Continental breakfast in the morning and shuttle from Mammoth Village directly to and from the lodge was super convenient. Staff was very kind!

The property really is beautiful and idyllic and so the hotel should be great, but its not. If you arrive at night, its pitch dark, not one light identifies the lodge or its entrance. It's not that the lodge rooms have shared bath, thats ok. it's that the shared baths are dumpy, old, and one is completely unheated and freezing. The doors to the rooms have 2 locks and require two hands to exit or enter, it just needs updating. Also the "continental breakfast is inferior to a Hampton Inn" which is puzzling.

Great place with super friendly service. Only minor complaint is the hot water in the shower is unpredictable. Parking lot is a little icy but that’s to be expected with all the snow they received lately.
