This is the second year we stay at the White House Inn while we ski at Mount Snow. We love the spacious clean room. Nice amenities and a wonderful large shower. I'm not fond of a puffy mattress, but it still was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of fruit, fresh baked coffee cake and pastries, varieties of toast, muffins, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal. We had a wonderful dinner in Clara's Cucina Restaurant. A true elegant dinning experience. We will return next year.

There was no hot water the first night.. I let the staff know the next day .. the young man immediately checked room availability and offered 3 options.. he also asked if he could help move us The room was clean. The fireplace was wonderful staff was friendly and accommodating

Room was in good condition. Bed was very comfortable. Hot water took a long time to get to the room. Staff was not that attentive and sometimes hard to find. Kitchen ran out of key ingredients, no asparagus Saturday evening, no yogurt at breakfast Sunday morning.

Great stay!

We loved staying at the White House Inn! Staff were so helpful and friendly, and we were impressed by the breakfast. The location is idyllic and the balance of historic details and modern comforts is just right. We were nervous about noise from other rooms (we could hear our neighbor on the phone as if she was standing right next to us) but didn't have an issue sleeping. Can't wait to visit again!

Overall the inn was quint and beautiful for a fall weekend in Vermont. The biggest disappointment was my room had no heat. I had to resort to finding a space heater in order to stay comfortable during the cold nights. Requested assistance but never saw the general manager. Given the cost the inn, I expected comfort and warmth.
