Lovely Hotel Motel One Hamburg.

Excellent stay in Motel One Hamburg Airport. About 10 to 15 mins from terminal is very handy. The hotel room is very cosy and clean, there is a small bar area for a nightcap. They only serve snacks and cheese and ham toasties, however they recommended a lovely Greek restaurant with huge portions which is about 5 to 7 mins walk past the main Phillips building. The room only price at around €90 per night is very good considering you are close to an international airport. The Hotel Motel One is highly recommended by me. The hotel is not signposted from the airport, so you will have to use Google Maps to know where to go, but if you head past the car rental benches and outside past the car rental returns, you are half way there.

False advertising air con

Quite annoyed about one thing and that is they don't have air con as advertised. They only have room ventilation. I was way too warm and had to open the window to motorway noise for the night.

Motel One Hamburg Airport is a quality hotel just 17min walk away from the Airport. Bed, pillows and other features in the room are fine and pleasant, quaranteeing a good nights sleep and the room is air conditioned. The Wlan works, which is a great . It is very pleasant to stay in the good looking and smartly designed room. Bathroom is comfortable. Staff is friendly. The lobby / lounge area is stylish with nice chairs to sit down for a drink or chatting. The bar has an absurdly wide selection of Gins and other alcohol bewerages. 5-10mins walk nearby is a grocerie shop EDEKA, an extended Tankstelle, and a couple of decent restaurants. There is also a very good looking, big gym nearby, but im not sure if they offer daily tickets for travellers. The breakfast is nothing special and also overly priced as usual in many hotels. The website promotes an exclusive variety of quality food products from different corners of the world. This, of course, is far away from the truth. The breakfast includes the bare basics; mainly white bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, muesli, pieces of cucumber, tomatoe and spreads etc. But also nice croissants and some sweets pasteries. The 2 coffee machines work and offer a decent cup of coffee. The stylish enviroment is very pleasant. I highly recommend this mid-price quality hotel for your stay before the upcoming flight. I will definetly come back.

Gutes Hotel am Flughafen für ein Stopover

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Weckerl super,die gekochten Eier heiss, on point und lustig;), die Dame vom Buffet richtig bemüht und freundlich, einziges Manko zuwenig Streichkäse. Die Zimmer sind ok für einen Zwischenstopp. Die Organisation von den Shuttles zum Flughafen war etwas chaotisch, ausserdem bekamen wir von jedem Rezeptionsmitarbeiter eine andere Auskunft. Taxifahrer zum Flughafen war dann sofort da, dauert etwa 10min und kostet ca. 13€.

Ein Airporthotel, das den Namen nicht verdient

Als Airporthotel bietet es keinen Shuttleservice zum Flughafen. Man muss circa 15 Minuten laufen. Bei schlechtem Wetter wär dies ein no go. Die Zimmer sind klein. Die letzte Renovierung war 2019. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war defekt für mich stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Das Frühstück entsprach dem Erwartungen und war preislich angemessen
