From the moment we arrived and were treated to tea and scones on the terrace our visit was a pure delight. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable with every need catered for. Old fashioned hospitality in a superb location with the most beautiful gardens. Amazing food and wine, best breakfast ever. We ate all our meals in the garden including the legendary warm scones- bliss. The hotel is in a gorgeous village and it backs straight onto the north York moors for easy walking. Loved it.

Beautiful and relaxing!

Stayed only for one night for a week end with my daughter but really enjoyed the tranquil setting, beautiful house, gorgeous gardens, quality food and super friendly service. Would recommend it to anybody who likes a quiet country hotel where you are being made feel "special". An excellent location for the coastal facilities if one doesn't want to stay in the hussle and bussle of the resorts. Hope to return, thank you!

We love everything about the Grange, the quiet, the leisurely pace, the good food, the lovely gardens, and particularly the personalized service provided by Jane and her sons Bertie and Tom. Don't come if you're looking for a hip and swinging place-this is not it and that's what we love about it.
