My Stay with family

Lovely hotel with character and beautiful architecture.Very close to landmarks and beautiful views of Blue Mosque. Quiet and friendly.Excellent choice of breakfast and terrace with sea views.Staff were very helpful especially Sadet who welcomed us and Zaki in restaurant.Very hospitable people. Only downside was that it is an old hotel and needs modernisation with bathrooms and floors.

Perfect for our holiday in the old town Istanbul.

The location was perfect, with staff who were all so helpful. The shower and toilet was designed in traditional style and was a little small but we got the hang of it. The air con was quiet and served a purpose as needed. The hotel and breakfast restaurant was relaxing, a range of food ,with lovely music being played.. a totally recommended hotel to stay in Istanbul central to historic sites

You can comfortably stay with your baby as well.

It was a very pleasant experience for us because this area is the most historic place in Istanbul, and everything can sometimes be complicated when you have a baby under 2 years old. Everything was great from our check-in to our check-out at the hotel. If you want to stay in this historical area, it is very difficult to find a nice hotel in the narrow streets and traveling with a stroller can be challenging, but the hotel staff was helpful in every way.

Fabulous price, location, even better service.

Beautiful hotel. Incredible location. Staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. I had my wallet stollen, and had no means to tip them and they still provided impeccable service. Another time when I was denied a visa to enter the country because my President is a moron, they refunded my prepaid reservation. I do not plan to ever use another hotel when traveling through Istanbul.

Great location and property

Amazing location. We walked out the front door of the hotel and saw a stunning view of the Blue Mosque. Easy walking distance to many historical sites and restaurants. Clean, comfortable rooms with a good, included breakfast and excellent, attentive service. Would definitely stay here again.

Does not honour offer from Hotels.com

Overall very good but they refuse to honour the offer from Hotels.com on food and beverage 20% off unless you tell the restaurant when your order so beware. They would not honour at checkout or after communication from Hotels.com . This is not good business and for that reason after 2 bookings I will not go back or recommend to friends.

Great service in a good hotel

Beautiful Ottoman old building with great view of the sea from the restaurant. Unfortunately the room is quite small and the hotel needs renovation. Alex at the reception was very helpful with his advice and is one of the main reasons for the overall rating we gave. Thank you Alex!
