The photos were very deceiving. It was hard to get to with no official address except gps coordinates. Room was okay but had a very confined area, with good amenities and acceptable cleanliness. I would not recommend this for families. Might be okay for short term backpackers.

Overall I really enjoyed this unique place to stay!! I would say it was pretty clean minus finding leftover food in a drawer was pretty frustrating. The breakfast was also overall good!! The one main downfall was the bar/club across the street played music extremely loud till 2 am on Friday night which could be heard from inside my room. Thankfully it was only that loud one night. Not the whole time I was there.

The hotel was clean and easy to find, however things that let it down: the bathroom flooded every time using the shower, no tv channels in the room (youtube only). Whilst the location is nice, be prepared for the noise. Friday & Saturday nights there’s very loud music playing from the clubs opposite and this continues to 3am.

This property was very lovely to stay in. The staff were friendly and attentive, breakfast was nice and was brought to the room in the morning. The balcony and the view were lovely too. I found the property difficult to find, the location pin given on Expedia was wrong and the address was also wrong. I don’t have a local SIM card so couldn’t call either. It turns out that the hotel does exist on google maps, it is called ‘ORCHID SUPER YACHT by Dutch Oriental’. The what3words location of the hotel is fruity.tree.intense Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel once we managed to find it and would happily stay there again.

2 Stars – Extremely Disappointing – Misleading Advertising and Poor Maintenance I booked this hotel based on its advertising as a unique “free-floating hotel in the middle of a creek,” which sounded like a magical, truly water-surrounded experience. In reality, it’s permanently docked to the mainland with no actual floating sensation—it’s just connected to land like any regular waterside property. Only one side of the hotel has a water view; the other side faces a parking lot full of cars, which feels like false advertising. The biggest issue, however, is the shocking lack of cleanliness and hygiene. The bathrooms show clear signs of mold and mildew on the tiles and grout, plus rust on fixtures and metal parts. It’s unacceptable in any accommodation, let alone one charging for a “premium” waterfront concept. The overall maintenance is neglected, and it shows everywhere. The only upside is the lower price compared to other hotels in the area, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t return and can’t recommend this place to anyone expecting a clean, honest waterfront stay.
