On arrival Monday 4.30pm, this is a really lovely property, clean & tidy, parking not a big issue, quiet street, but the property was freezing cold, heating thermostat set at OFF, boiler was on. Boiler water very low topped up nothing. Hottub cold was 29°. We went through welcome pack no owner details, no heating details, hottub details 3 pages of, do's & don't's, main detail for hottub was DONT TOUCH TEMP BUTTONS. We had booked through Hotels.com this is a Sykes Cottages Property & on arrival, Monday we tried to contact Sykes Cottages 4 different phone numbers NO answer. Tues try ring Sykes sent link to Whatsapp mgs told Agent be in contact ASAP, mgs every day nothing, Thurs reply came, as not heard in over 24 hrs case will close unless still need help, YES need help, told heating details in welcome pack, check boiler is on, may need topup. We replied no heatings instructions in welcome pack, hottub details DONT TOUCH TEMP BUTTONS added photo of hottub temp now 27° no reply. Friday Sykes mgs 14.55 said just got your mgs, will get back to you, thanks for your patience. 16.35pm Sykes, spoke to owner boiler should be on all the time, hottub should not be set at 27° turn to your required temp. Owner father mgs me, owner away, Friday evening told him only way we could use boiler without setup thermostat timer was to boost it every hour & we had turned hottub up. Sykes sent us a complaints email I filled in not heard anything. Its really nice cottage just was cold.
