Good but not great

Good renovated rooms. Nobody attending. Everything through codes. Towels are never changed even in a 4 day stay. We tried, but they didn’t. Lift not working. Very well located

Not for us

We were met by a lovely girl who let us into our room half an hour early . The lift to the second floor was broken and has been since 30.06.25 so we had to carry our luggage up flights of stairs. The room itself was basic (very basic) no wardrobe just a rack to hang a few coats on, a bed ,tv, and a small table with a kettle . There was a damp smell from the bathroom . Towels were not changed after the first day . You could hear the occupants talk in the room next to us . We didnt stay the second night . No one onsite , no reception or security

Great location, helpful and friendly staff! They were able to hold my bag for me while i explored the city more before catching a bus back to Dublin. Would definitely stay here again should I come back to Derry!

Not To Be Recommended

The hotel is central to most areas however because of the lack of reception its a haven for underage parties, loud, noisey and extremely unsafe, My wife had a top taken during our stay Certainly Would Not Recommend This Hotel

Convenient location

The rooms are fine. The bathroom light comes in automatically so if you need it in the night it illuminates the whole room. The worst but was the noise. We were on the street on the first floor and between midnight and 3pm you have noisy youth shouting outside the window. I have never slept so badly.

Paper thin walls

Wouldn’t recommend. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear every time someone comes home at night. We stayed at ground floor where there was no natural light but just a lot of noise. Whenever someone would enter their room, their doors would cause vibrations in ours!! Would no recommend at all!

We werent expecting an accessible shower but expedia had allocated one to us. Also we had booked 2 rooms through expedia but instructions only came through for one. We phoned the hotel directly & they were fantastic, sorting it out very quickly. I'll think twice about booking through a third party provider in future.

Bedding

Bed cover consisted of a duvet which was too heavy for our liking. Too hot with the cover on, and becoming too cool with it off. Sweat and cool cycle resulted in poor sleep. No ability to open a window to let fresh air in.
