Give this place a wide berth!
I've never had such an awful experience. The room is very basic and run down. That's ok, it's a cheap place. Stains on bedding and towels. Had to ask for towels. Awful smell in room and bathroom. 20million flies due to onion and garlic field behind property. Massive gap under entry door (about 15cm). No formal check in process. No staff member to check me in. No-one asked for ID, they didn't have my booking, even though it was already paid for months ago. They actually asked me to cancel my booking with Hotels.com, the booking they didn't have, and pay them cash directly. This whole thing took hours. I was told that if I didn't stay the 2 nights, I would get some money back. I never did. They stopped communicating with me. Ignoring all messages from me. Giving me stupid excuses why they hadn't sent the money, like it was raining and they needed to get the money from someone else. It's been about three weeks and still nothing. The young guy (Arish) that was some sort of supervisor that took my money is just a pure scammer. I felt unsafe. This is not the normal Balinese behaviour I've always experienced and love. So disappointing.
The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the thermal pools are amazing. I'd suggest just visiting them and sadly, give the hotel a big miss!
