Very nice hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful! The hotel was a bit further out from town but trams were easy to get to. The facilities were amazing however the only downfalls were that the spa wasn’t yet open and they didn’t have enough sunbeds so we couldnt get one in the afternoon. We had dinner at the Lora restaurant which was phenomenal!

If you are looking for relaxed luxury...SLS Barcelona has you covered. The facilities were excellent and clean. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful when asked - even my 10yr old son commentes how amazing the staff all were, especially at dinner. I look forward to retruning very soon and I have been telling all friends that SLS is the place to stay when in Barcelona.

Brilliant clean and away from the noise of Barcelona centre. Very nice staff and the room was amazing and high tech. I would definetly stay here again. X4 restaurant's directly outside the hotel x2 Indian, x1 Moroccon x1 Arabic If yiu want to get to the centre or main beach, get a yego scooter as it is much cheaper than taxis back and forth.

I recently stayed at SLS Barcelona while attending a conference. The hotel itself is lovely – modern, stylish, and comfortable. The bar staff were wonderful, very friendly and welcoming, and the lady who checked us in was equally lovely. Our room was clean and nicely designed. That said, the location is not ideal if you want to explore the city. It worked well for my conference, but it is a bit far from most of the main attractions and central areas. There were also a few disappointments during our stay. We were meant to receive a complimentary bottle of wine, which never arrived. I contacted the hotel about it, and they replied saying they could not deliver it because our “Do Not Disturb” sign was on the door. I responded stating it had been removed and times we would be available, but never heard back. Additionally, the safe in our room had been locked by a previous guest and was unusable, and no one came to fix it despite raising the issue. At checkout, I mentioned the missing wine again. The staff checked to see if we had at least received the fruit that was meant to be included, which we had not. They apologised and offered my partner a takeaway coffee, which was appreciated, but overall there was no real attempt to make up for the missed amenities. A lovely hotel with kind staff, but the service follow-up needs improvement, and the location is just not the best for exploring the city.

This is a brand new luxury property. They are still working out a few things now that operations are in full swing, but nothing that took away from my experience. The location is a little out of the way in an area that is being reinvigorated by new/re-developments. But what motivated me to write a review and what really sets this property aside is the friendliness of the staff. Every single employee has a real service orientation and displayed genuine interest in making our stay special but without being pushy or over the top. Based on the staff alone I would consider SLS again for my next visit to BCN.

AC not working in room. Elevator not working ever. Front door to hotel also jammed. This hotel is still not up and running properly, area is right next to an industrial area which is not ideal. I regret this hotel and wish we booked more central Barcelona. It’s way more beautiful there. Don’t be scammed by SLS brand and service because they don’t have it retained here.

The hotel is new and clean. However, they are still in the learning curve. The hotel need time to have efficient check in and check out process. My room was not ready on time. The house keeping process also needs to be improved. The hotel assigns one quality control employee to check the housekeeping work which is not efficient. The minibar was not filled in the 2nd day of my stay. The lobby and the reception are always busy. One major item, the hotel is next to sewage plant.

half of the amenities weren’t open when we went . i had book the rooms through expedia and they were prepaid and they still charge my card without telling me . i find out when i looked at my card statement. i reached out to expedia for this matter. when expedia called them why i was charged the reason they gave was they couldn’t find my booking but when i was checking in not once they told me that they couldn’t find my expedia booking . as such a big hotel. when i checked they just said they needed a card for accidental charges.

Modern beautifully large space impersonal feeling walking into it. The reception staff was absolutely phenomenal day in and day out with warm, greetings, knowledgeable, suggestions, enjoyable conversations, those persons and the view were the best part of this hotel. My dinner at Café Laura was delicious. The service was excellent. It was disappointing at night as the room began to smell like dirty socks from the factory next-door. The hotel really needs to have an air intake filtration system or aromatherapy natural oils options in each room. The rooms were well appointed, with a steamer and blow dryer. There were no bath robes however slippers were provided Min Barr had a nice selection of snacks and drinks. It wasn’t relaxing out on the balcony at night due to the pulsating techno beat coming from the poolside bar. The pool closes too early 7 PM. There’s no way to enjoy it for the evening due to their lack of having lifeguards available. The spa was not open yet nor was their rooftop pool. This was not made mention on the website. If you like the big vibe of Miami or Vegas, this is the place for you if you’re searching something a little more intimate and in the heart of Barcelona, this is not the site each taxi cost perhaps on an average of €25 a trip to get into the center of Barcelona to do your various sightseeing. Often I wanted to return to my room to take a swim and then go out for the night however, pool closed not an option.

Fablous stay at SLS Barcelona

My stay at the SLS Barcelona was fabulous. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was sparkling clean, the breakfast buffet was delicious (make sure you try the churros) and in the late morning, they put out candy and juice in the lobby until the evening. It was such a fun treat! I am looking forward to booking with them again in the future.
