If having no spoons was the only issue…

PRO: Convenient downtown location. Walking distance to nearby shopping, grocery stores, Rogers Centre, attractions and waterfront. CONS: 1. Processing security deposit and not releasing detailed check-in information until just prior to arrival (same day). 2. Access to parking space in garage was with a key fob. However, the key fob wasn’t activating the parking garage; company didn’t fix despite multiple calls and appointment. We ended up paying for a public parking garage during our stay. 3. Service people entered apartment for dryer vent cleaning during our stay without prior notice from the management. 4. Unit management does not respond to questions and we were not allowed to contact concierge or risk losing cancellation of booking, which was nonrefundable. 5. Condition is not luxury accommodations as advertised: (a) 4th bedroom had an incomplete and shoddily-constructed wall with thin sheets of melamine and exposed 2x4s. Also the wall does not go to the ceiling, (b) door hinge on master bedroom door is not attached to door frame, (c) outside patio is not well-maintained due to tall weeds growing, (d) shower rod held in place with waded up paper towel. 6. No spoons provided.

Absolute Appalling! Avoid this place at all costs

Booked this apartment-style rental the evening before planned arrival. I paid in full through hotels.com like usually. Everything seemed fine… until the next morning. There I received an email demanding a photo of my government-issued ID and a photo of my credit card and a bank wire transfer of an exuberant amount as a damage deposit. No reputable hotel or short-term rental would ever demand a wire transfer for a deposit, especially not without prior warning or visibility on the booking site. Wire transfers are non-refundable, unprotected, and impossible to reverse. There’s no fraud protection like with a credit card hold, and of course, the money would never have arrived in time anyway. When I declined to wire the deposit, they refused to grant me access to the room. They also refused to issue a refund, hiding behind internal “policies” that are not visible or disclosed on Hotels.com at the time of booking. I later read reviews from other travelers stating that they hadn't received their deposit back, even weeks later. I was forced to book a room in a different hotel last minute. The whole experience feels like a predatory trap designed to exploit unsuspecting guests. It flirts with the line of outright fraud without technically crossing it, and it’s disgraceful that this is even allowed on a major platform. Do not book here unless you enjoy sending your most sensitive data via unsecured and being extorted.

What we liked: Best location, everything walking distance. Close to Roger Center, CN Tower, Water front, local parks, quiet, balcony with view, safe, comfortable bed and pillows, lots of pillows, access to Netflix, apartment fully equipped, indoor parking included. What we didn't like: The apartment was not the one advertissed when we booked. It was supposed to be a corner unit with paronamic view. The picture didn't match the posting but still a nice place. The plumbing was not draining properly. The drain in the shower was clogged and the bathroom sink drained slowly. It was not very clean, mould in the bathtub, a lot of dust on the furnitures but the kitchen was okay. No salt, no pepper, no sugar. Lots of coffee though. Parking was hard to access, P1 was easy to locate but no instruction for P2 level. I would recomment giving more instructions on how to access the parking spot. Overall, we enjoyed and liked our stay regardless of the things we didn't like. The location couldn't be better. The guest was accessible and responded very quickly. Still recommended the place!

Dirty!!

Our key fob did not work so we could not use the elevator. The condo had not been cleaned. There were dishes in the sink, the bedding had not been changed and putty dust everywhere. There was no dish rags or tea towels or frying pan. There were cigarette butts on the balcony. The management apologized but never replaced our key fob or compensated our stay in any way

False address &penalizes if u talk to lobby securi

Something is not right about this place. 1) the address is not correct. They send you a confirmation email after you provide them additional information for another address across from the original address. 2) they prohibit you from speaking with lobby concierge /security with a hefty penalty if you. Makes me wonder if this place is even legal? Broken floors too

Reconsider unless you only care about location!

Great location right downtown and prompt communication via text except the information we received was contradictory to the ad, last minute, and very frustrating. All of the ads say that there is free self parking which is NOT true- I was told last minute I needed to pay extra if I want to park. Total money grab as other reviews state the same experience. This was after I did the pre check in a few days before and paid extra for early check in (2pm instead of 5) and was informed only halfway into my drive to Toronto that it was not available so had to rearrange plans and specifically paid for early check in to get to our show in time. Coffee maker didn’t work, beds were decent not great, and there could be a few maintenance things done like clean windows, better climate control (was very hot despite putting ac on) and an overall deep clean of the unit. Balcony had a mouldy chair and a broken chair with filthy windows

Not a great experience

The unit was good but the management was not that good. After booking, paying for the room and giving my deposit, the day of the booking the management team texted me saying the deposit went from increased which was not in the agreement. They ended up comprising to a lower cost, but to bring that up last min was not professional. Then the door code they gave me didn't work and the parking spot they gave me was not right as I had a not on my car saying I parked in someones spot and I should leave cash for them as they could have had my car towed. Awfull - stay away

Terrible experience. close to being crooks. Although the price is atractive and location is ideal, don't be fooled. After you book whit hotels.com there is an other long and sketchy process with the appartment managers. You have to enter personal info, picture of ID, credit card info.. But after that, they will tell you that the system has a problem and that you have to leave the 500$ deposit by e-transfer. If you do, you are doomed. tons of back and forth by phone, email, text messages. completely disorganised. But when you get there.. oh... appartments are not cleaned. hair all over the bathroom ( and not long hair you know... ) pictures do not represent at all the reality. they will show you pictures of a nice bed, but you only see half of it. When you get there you realise that the bed is in the living room. Dividers made out of studs and wood. They agreed to move us to another appartment. not much better. had to ask the lady to do some basic cleaning, etc.. no toaster, etc.. But you know, what ? you are doomed, because they have your cash deposit from the e-transfer. try to argue after that... Lucky for us, our bank had blocked the transfer because the management try to deposit in a different account than the info supplied originally. If you value peace of mind, pay a bit more and find something else. PS: I will spare you the pictures taken in case you are having dinner..

Good location in Toronto

Easy check in, nice property. Needs more kitchen supplies like cups and plates. The hair dryer did not work.
