Nice small hotel in a central area. Only issue is the street is closed to traffic. A lot of Constuction in the area makes things very confusing. After calling hotel, we figured how to drive down the pedestrian street to drop the bags. Not the hotel's fault.

Coimbra Intro

I really enjoyed staying at The CBR Boutique. The room was excellent, with a great view. The breakfast could be improved upon, but did include fruit and pastry. The location was lively and with many activities near by. Much thought had been put into the decor with built in closets, TVs, toilets separate from showers, book lined facilities, quiet space without intrusion .

It was an unique and romantic place to stay. The staff was friendly and eager to help with anything. This is one of our favourite places so far. Bathroom was spacious and had a luxury-feel to it. Breakfast was a bit compact, but thats understandable due to the size of the hotel. Location was great, right next to local shops & restaurants.

This hotel is so cute. We loved how the bathrooms were decorated with "books" to give it the feel of a library. We had lots of fun scanning all the titles and finding the upside down ones. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly with multiple languages spoke (always impressive). Would definitely stay again.

Central thermostat made it hard to sleep

Nicely renovated property with pretty good breakfast. The main downside is that their thermostat is centrally controlled (to turn on for heat or for cooling), and when we went the evenings were turned on for heat. We prefer it cooler to sleep and it was only possible to open the windows, which meant a lot of noise given the hotel’s central location. The hotel is recommended otherwise, so if you’re not a light or particular sleeper it’s a good choice in Coimbra.

Hated leaving

Absolutely loved everything, but especially the staff. They all made us feel at home in Coimbra and treated us as guests rather than customers. The breakfast was excellent! We hope to come back soon and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

Moderne et original

De passage à Coimbra nous nous sommes arrêtés dans cet hôtel. Accueil sympathique. Chambre pour le moins étonnante, très moderne. Très grand lit avec deux petites pièces wc et douche, décorées avec de faux livres, mais avec des portes transparentes. Assurément design recherché mais pas très fonctionnel. Pas de sèche cheveux ni d’endroit où poser les serviettes. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Very nice cosy hotel

Overall a very nice stay. We were expecting Hästen beds but we’re told they’ve been changed in November 2024. The new beds are of the firm type. The hotel was very clean and was very nicely designed, the bookshelf carved into the bathroom wall was particularly cool! Service was friendly and attentive. The breakfast on the top floor was small but nice with a beautiful view.

Óptimo hotel no centro de Coimbra. No entanto recomendo a receção tivesse sempre alguém a todo o momento. Cheguei a necessitar e tive de esperar que alguém aparecesse. As almofadas não gostei, demasiado grossas e não havia outras, o que é lamentável pois implica dormir mal para algumas pessoas. Tirando isso, recomendo o hotel.
