We only stayed one night and very much enjoyed ourselves. There is a bit of road noise but they do have ear plugs in the room, and it was very quiet when there wasn’t passing traffic. The staff were all great, room was clean, bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Reno.

LOVE Best Best Motor Lodge

I have stayed here twice now, with my dog, and it's been great both times! The room is very big, clean and has everything you would need for a stay. The hotel is walking distance to anything you would want to go to in Midtown and the staff are very friendly. My dog and I have been very comfortable here and find it to be a gem of a place to stay when visiting Reno.

Room was great and very clean. The firepit was lovely and being able to stay w/ our dog was also a plus. Parking was limited and sort of frustrating that there wasn't enough parking for the amount of rooms/guests, but we were directed by reception to park in the alley and it worked. Overall would recommend for the midtown area. Thanks!

Other than the fan not working in the bathroom, everything was fine. It's not a room to hang out in for long stretches of time during the day, which met our needs. Noise could be a bit loud from the street, but multi-pane windows and complimentary ear plugs helped. The area around the motel has lots of dining and entertainment options. Parking could be full, so check before you book.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was very clean, charming, and the self check-in was fantastic, the room clean and organized and stocked. The only reason I’m not giving top marks across the board is due to a couple minor details, which should not dissuade anyone from staying here, nor should the location take as harsh criticism. The bedroom light next to the bed was clearly broken or tweaked, causing it to flicker (at first I thought it was a candle effect) but it’s clearly something wrong and over time becomes headache inducing. Additionally, the shower water pressure is very low, but not terrible and there may be nothing that can be done about that so, not a major issue. The bed pillow cases and sheets had either dog hair or human hair on them, and that gave me a strong feeling that they might not have been actually washed since last use, or if so, not carefully. It’s kinda unsettling laying on the bed an seeing the pillow case coated in hairs. This one is a major ick. Which could have been rectified with housekeeping, which never came through during my stay despite having the request placard on the door. I will admit it was Thanksgiving, but I was gone from the room from early morning until 2am the day after. It would have been nice to have had the room upkept, towels refreshed, and those sheets and cases cleaned. But, overall I can ignore it for the quality of everything else. And I don’t wish to detract heavily, as I’ve stayed in far worse locations. Thanks!

Just one issue--but overall, fantastic!

We loved almost everything about it. The decor was fab, the amenities were perfect, and the bathroom was fantastic. The only thing is the floor. It looks great, but it was very dirty. My white socks are now grey. A good mopping and maybe some inexpensive house slippers for guests could be helpful. We also kicked the doorstop a few times and caught our feet on the rug--falling on a hard floor like that could be problematic, so perhaps tacking down the rug and using a wall doorstop might be helpful. But overall, fantastic place and we will definitely stay there again.

The room was really nice and clean. I liked the plants which made it feel more like home. They offered drinks and snacks available in the room to purchase which was a great convenience. The only 2 things i would improve is the refrigerator to have a freezer and to have a small pet relief area. Other than that the stay was really great and the employees were very nice and respectful. I will be staying here again!!
