This is best hotel to stay if want to enjoy the Village. Conveniently located, cold air conditioner, hot shower, comfy bed, near three Metro stops, and nicest staff. Any visit I come up this is where I stay now.

I know what to expect when I stay here, a comfortable bed, a shower and washroom. I’m not there to spend time in the room - Montreal has lots to offer and keep you busy 24hrs. So if you’re looking for a place to crash and not break the bank, then Hotel Ste-Catherine is the choice.

Although the room was small and compact, this was exactly what we were looking for, just to spend the night in a clean and small place and spend the day exploring the city. I had a very poor experience at this hotel and would not recommend it. The cleanliness was unacceptable; the bed linens were not properly cleaned, and the drawers were dirty inside. The room lacked basic amenities: there was no trash can, and no closet—only a clothes hanger. Furthermore, the electrical outlets were almost entirely non-functional; only one out of all the sockets in the room actually worked. The bathroom was equally disappointing. There was no hand soap provided, and the quality of the toilet paper was extremely poor. To make matters worse, there was a persistent unpleasant odor in the room, and the smell of marijuana constantly drifted in, which was very bothersome. Overall, the room felt neglected and was not worth the stay.
