Excellent location right in the centre of the wonderful Woodstock. Room was bright and airy, the bed was very comfortable. Shower was great and the teas/coffees/biscuits provided were great. There was a fan in our room which was very much appreciated in the 29 degree heat. Free parking to the rear of the property which was so helpful. Lovely breakfast - we both chose the full English which was delicious. The breakfast room was beautiful with a small sunny courtyard surrounded by lavender. Additional shady courtyard tables were welcomed - we sat and shared a bottle of Prosecco from the bar. Only negative was we were charged £30 for our two dogs which we didn't realise would happen. I still maintain our dogs will cause less mess and noise than most children (I know I have two....!)

This quirky old hotel was wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel’s age means slanting floors and delightful artwork surround you. Don’t worry about the lift and luggage, the staff is only too willing to lug your stuff! Location to Blenheim, pubs, cute town, bus route is perfect. I stayed for five days and had a new breakfast every morning. Bath products are plentiful and nice. Also, drinks available if pubs aren’t your thing. Would stay again.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night in June 2026 and had a lovely stay. Hotel was clean, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious (buffet, including pastries, cheese/ham, fruit, yogurts etc. and hot food, and could have from both). Our room (room 1), was huge with a massive bed. Bathroom was a little small, but perfectly adequate, with a good shower. It was so quiet in the hotel despite being full - we actually didn’t see or hear any other guests until we went to breakfast! The hotel is on the main road, so easily accessible although with a main road does come traffic noise. We had the windows open as it was a heatwave weekend, so we probably noticed it more than you might do normally as the windows were double glazed, but it wasn't an issue. Location is very good, in the centre of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace is easily walkable in about 10/15 mins. Lots of lovely coffee shops, cafes, restaurants nearby too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again on any future visits to the area. 😀
