Meieki
Nagoya's Meieki neighborhood pulses with energy around Japan's massive transportation hub. Shop till you drop at Midland Square or Takashimaya department store, then catch breathtaking city views from the Sky Promenade. The soaring JR Central Towers and twisting Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers create an impressive skyline worth admiring from every angle. Underground food courts serve everything from conveyor-belt sushi to Nagoya's famous miso katsu. Hotels of all types cluster conveniently around the station, making exploration a breeze. With multiple train lines and subway stations connecting throughout, you'll zip around the city without breaking a sweat.

Osu
Osu's covered shopping arcade buzzes with more than 1,200 shops selling everything from cutting-edge electronics to quirky vintage threads. The iconic red-pillared Osu Kannon Temple offers a peaceful escape from the retail madness, while cosplay shops and retro arcades keep the fun factor high. Street performances pop up regularly, giving the neighborhood its unmistakable energy. Restaurants serve up tasty Nagoya specialties like miso katsu alongside international fare in this walkable district. Two metro stations make exploring beyond Osu a breeze, and nearby business hotels offer convenient places to crash after a day of shopping and temple-hopping.

Kanayama
Kanayama buzzes with energy as a major transit hub where Nagoya's pulse beats strongest. Atsuta Jingu Shrine offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle, while the Nagoya-Boston Museum of Fine Arts delivers cultural hits. After dark, karaoke venues light up and the Asunal Kanayama shopping complex keeps the action going with stores and eateries that locals swear by. Getting around couldn't be easier with Kanayama Station connecting JR trains, subway lines, and buses in all directions. Comfortable business hotels and cozy cafes dot the landscape, perfect for travelers who want convenience without sacrificing comfort. The neighborhood balances urban energy with just enough quiet corners to catch your breath.

Nagoya City Centre
Nagoya City Centre pulses with energy around its massive transportation hub. The gleaming Nagoya Station connects to bullet trains while towering corporate headquarters dot the skyline. Science and art museums offer cultural breaks between shopping trips to underground malls and department stores. Parks like Shirakawa provide peaceful spots when you need a breather from the bustling streets. Hotels range from sleek business accommodations to luxury chains, all within steps of excellent transit options. Grab authentic hitsumabushi eel or miso katsu at basement food courts before exploring the nightlife in Sakae district. Nagoya and related destinations
Between ancient temples and futuristic skyscrapers, Nagoya reveals itself as Japan's underappreciated marvel. The reconstructed Nagoya Castle dazzles with golden dolphins atop its roof, while the Toyota Automobile Museum tells the story of Japan's industrial might through perfectly polished vintage cars. At Port of Nagoya Aquarium, dolphins perform with such enthusiasm you'd think they were auditioning for something better. LEGOLAND Japan offers brick-built wonders that delight children and secretly impress adults. For a cultural fix, the Nagoya City Art Museum houses treasures in a building that's itself a masterpiece of modernism. Save room for miso-katsu, the local breaded pork cutlet that locals defend with surprising passion.

Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae
"This hotel is located in the heart of Nagoya, called Sakae. If you come by metro, Sakae station has two lines that are connected. If you come by bus, there is a big terminal in Oasis21, which is about 5-7 minutes by foot to the hotel. The venue is modern, clean, well-provided and the staff is very courteous and willing to help as much as possible. My room was very well maintained, clean, with a lot of useful amenities. Highly recommanded hotel if you have business or leisure in Sakae, or if you want to connect with other parts of the City of Nagoya!"
