The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They went over and beyond to ensure that we were happy. Starting with the concierge on arrival and the receptionists on the 49th floor as well as the entire dining experience on the 48th floor for both the breakfast and dinner services. There was a wide variety of food options for breakfast. We decided to have dinner and breakfast every day at the Shangri La during our stay because of the presentation, taste, sanitary, and attention to details by the staff who were very friendly and thoughtful.
This stay will remain as a special reminder of the kind and hospitable people of Phnom Penh and Cambodia in general.

Booked a Club level room but found out at check in the hotel is new and will not have a Club Lounge for months. Expedia should NOT have offered a higher priced room when the amenities paid for are NOT available. The hotel offered a few bite size snacks a a drink...hardly a club experience.
Hotel is nice but staff is new and service suffered. Location is a bit remote but I've found that the case with many of the larger chain hotels. I like Shanghai La hotels and will continue to stay at other locations but not here.
