The location was fantastic! The owner was lovely and super accommodating. The rooms were clean and adorable. My only complaint was that the beds were uncomfortable. The pillows were not great and bedding was thin and a little scratchy. Regardless, I still recommend this property because it’s in a great location and the service is excellent.

The cottage was great and clean. The bathroom however is so small, your knees hit the wall while you’re sitting on the toilet, and I had to duck to wash my hair in the tiny shower. And the pool was green. I told the worker taking care of the pool that it was green and cloudy, and he said yeah, I’ll treat it tonight, but the next day it was also green and cloudy. Nasty.

Pretty room, one bed was soft the other was really hard. No toilet paper holder, which was odd because we had to put the roll behind the toilet or on the side of the sink. The heated pool was wonderful and very clean.

The location of this motel was excellent and very walkable to the boardwalk and beach. The room looked newly updated and was clean. The pool was heated which was nice. The rates were very reasonable and about half the price of the place next door. It was a bit challenging to reach them by phone and took a few tries, but the staff was helpful once I got through. The staff also called and texted me to give me information about the room number, designated parking space and where the key would be if we arrived after 6:00 pm. The only downside was the 9:00 am checkout, which is early by mistake hotel/motel standards. I would stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the 2 room setup. Clean sheets and towels as anticipated. But the very first thing I checked as I turns it on was the air conditioner filter. It was unfortunately filthy. It had not been cleaned for quite some time. Not just dirty but blocked with dust. The floors were unswept, the cabinet under the bathroom sink looked like a construction site project. I was also surprised there wasn’t a noise curfew as this is a family setting and was taken aback when at 1am one evening a very large group sitting on a porch were loudly shouting, laughing and had no respect for anyone sleeping. At least they stopped when I asked them to. But I should have had to. Would I stay again? Possible. But I will come prepared to feel a bit more comfortable in my space. I do wish I took photos but we had a busy time and it wasn’t priority.

The mainsail cottage was GREAT and certainly serves the main purposes as to why we went (close proximity to the beach, easy access, easy parking and private pool option for when we were done with the beach). The room was very clean, you could see housekeeping up and down consistently getting rooms ready throughout the day. The pool was extra clean as well. The owner or manager that seemed to be on duty every single day since Wednesday or Thursday was very accommodating and attentive. I think her name was Erica! I checked out early due to unrelated things with the cottage/my stay there and accidentally made a mistake with the keys. A gentlemen that also works there helped return them for me, so I didn’t have to drive back. Everyone there was amazing, even the guest were friendly snd respectful.
