Gorgeous little guest house in the perfect location for visiting Skye for the first time. Close to everything you want to see! The bedrooms are darling and cozy and the owners couldn’t be sweeter! Dale and Fiona were great hosts and our room was immaculate. The light breakfasts consist of various cereals, milk, yoghurt, orange juice and a lovely fruit salad which is all you really need to get your day started. It's about 6 miles from the town centre of Portree which takes about 10 minutes by car so all very accessible. Would definitely stay again when we return to the isle of Skye.

Dale and Fiona were wonderful hosts. The property is in a nice quiet location close to Quiraing and Portree. The room is very nice with amenities including a stocked mini-fridge along with the updated bathroom. There is a separate breakfast / dining area as well. The public road to Cleadil House does have a few potholes to watch out for. Overall, excellent stay.

Our hosts truly made us feel welcome. We loved the country location but only minutes to Portree (the main town in Isle of Skye). Our room was cozy but had enough space for us. Really appreciated having a fridge in our room. There was a nice breakfast area that we were encouraged to use for our take away dinner (last place we stayed in didn't even allow any outside food, let alone have a place to eat it). I only drink decaf so they made sure I had a nice brewed decaf for breakfast. I know that beds are a personal preference but we loved our bed. We are used to sleeping in a king and it has been hard sleeping in doubles, but this one worked for us. Everything seemed new, including the nice walk in shower. Finally a room with black out curtains! There was a vent above our window that we could open to cool down our room and still have our blind down. The peace and quiet was divine. We highly recommend this guest house.

This place is a hidden gem just outside of Portree. Dale is so welcoming, the room was lovely and the bathroom was spacious and had a big shower and both were very clean. The breakfast was great with fresh juice, fruit, yogurt and various cereals. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay close to Portree. You won’t be disappointed!

You need to find your way here. But once in, the owner is very welcoming and the facilities tick many boxes. The breakfast may be on the sparce site for Dutch but overall, this is a nice place to stay for a day or two.

Dale and Fiona were wonderful hosts! It was so nice to have a little slice of home while on our trip. Their place had the comfiest bed and pillows on our trip this far and allowed us to feel so comfortable and at home. Dale greeted us when we arrived, showed us our room and the amenities, as well as visitor information for the area which was very helpful! He assured us to knock on their main suite if we needed anything at all. The continental breakfast was amazing - Greek yogurt, granola, cereals, fresh fruit salad, coffee and juice as well as milk. There was also coffee and tea in the room as well as a few biscuits which was a lovely touch. I see why this guesthouse is busy, but highly recommend working it into your Scotland travel schedule. Wonderful distance from Portree, and beyond perfect. Thank you Dale and Fiona!

Attic space small but comfortable. Needs seating

good location, about 15 minutes from Portree. Attic area with shared breakfast nook with other attic couple. Bedroom small with tiny bench with back support, a desk/counter and tv in the room. Small frig in room. Hosts very nice and cold breakfast items provided every morning. Great job! Very nice bed and pillows. Bath very spacious and great! Suggestions: get ride of the small, hard couch and desk and bring in two small club chairs for comfort. Replace hard wooden chairs in breakfast nook with padded chairs for comfort.
