I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa Teresa in Positano. The location was perfect, set high enough to offer breathtaking views of the sea and colorful cliffside homes, yet close enough to explore the town easily. The rooms were charming and comfortable, with traditional décor that felt warm and welcoming. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight—fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee with stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. The hosts were kind and attentive, making me feel right at home. Casa Teresa was the perfect mix of comfort, authenticity, and beauty. It was an unforgettable Positano experience.

Lovely room with a view, but lots of steps.

A beautiful room with separate lounge space, big bathroom and a nice terrace. It is a long way up from the ferry port and we used the porter sercvice to take our luggage up which is a must. There are a lot of flights of steps to reach this accommodation. The breakfast was good but, if it is raining then you are not able to take breakfast at the accommodation (they do give you a voucher to go to a local restaurant but you still have to pay 10€pp). Overall a lovely stay and would recommend.

It was an amazing stay! I went on a mother daughter trip and my mother is deaf and had gotten lost one of the days. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating and willing to help. The premises were beautiful and well kept. Breakfast on the terrace with a view is unmatched. Great stay for great value! Absolutely would stay again. Thank you all so much for being so wonderful to me and my family!

Foi decepcionante a estadia nesse hotel! Zero charme, zero conforto, a cama era de molas, bem ruim, lençol estava rasgado, a decoração é bem antiquada, com um presépio na entrada. A cama era com cabeceira de tecido e dava uma impressão de suja. Sofá cama descartável também. Café da manhã sofrido com queijo e presunto dentro do plastico. A dona do hotel muito antipática. Não sei como as avaliações estão dando 9.2. Acabei indo pela nota e não daria 5 para esse hotel.

This is a beautiful old hotel that is quiet and very unique in design much like the town. There are a lot of stairs. A porter service is recommended. Restaurants, shopping and the town center are in walking distance but it requires steps and some uphill. The breakfast was good. Only problem was it was not served until later in am if you are going out for day trip.

We loved our stay at Casa Teresa! The breakfast was delicious, and was set on a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view of Positano. The owners were very welcoming and responsive to anything we needed or had questions about. We would definitely stay here again!

Gostei bastante da Casa Teresa. Apenas não recomendo para quem não gosta de escadas, porque o acesso requer muitos degraus. A melhor coisa que fizemos foi deixar nossas malas no carro (em um estacionamento pago) e seguir apenas com uma mochila cada uma. Fora isso. Super recomendo a Casa Teresa.

Difficile d'accès. Une chambre horrible dans une grotte humide, sans fenêtre ni aération. Beaucoup de bruit. Petit déjeuner catastrophique : on pose du jambon avec son emballage plastic sur la table. A éviter.

Cons: Major ant infestation issue (need to hire an exterminator; we were advised to eat on the terrace to prevent more ants from entering our room), mini fridge not cleaned recently (filled with mold in the freezer compartment), lightbulbs needed replacement, grout missing/falling out in shower, no blackout curtains, lack of bedding (only a quilt and top sheet), no where to hang shower towels, furniture missing handles, toilet partial flush broken and only the full flush was working. Pros: breakfast was ok with a nice view.

Casa Teresa is very hard to find and there are many many steps. There are several hotels in the same area next to each other. Very confusing. Room was nice with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was plentiful. Hotel is a long uphill trip not close to town. We paid porters to bring our luggage.Enzo was very helpful .

Accommodations were ok , we thought from the pics that we would have more space being that we were a family of 5 but it was tight . Also sofa bed was very uncomfortable for the 2 of us . We gave the kids the beds since they didn’t want to be separated . View from hotel was beautiful
