It’s a basic room inside Death Valley Nation Park. I highly recommend the Saloon / Restaurant. One of the best meals on our cross country trip. Worth staying here just for the restaurant.

Très bel hôtel à l’entrée de la vallée de la mort, ambiance western. Chambre très propre et confortable, et surtout climatisée (séjour à 50 degrés). Possibilité de petit déjeuné sur place avec un super buffet continental avec beaucoup de choix et de très bon produits, moyennant 15 dollars par personne. Je recommande cet hôtel !

Stovepipe Wells - September 2025

The room was very simple but clean and comfortable. The cold water in the shower was about the same temperature as the hot water - surprisingly not very hot considering that the pipes bake in the desert heat all day. Dinner at the Badwater Saloon was good, and they have a nice beer selection.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. It was super close to the Sand dunes and had everything we'd need for a short or long trip. I was very impressed and would definitely stay there again.
