The room was well located a few blocks from the Zocalo, but it was in a slightly less frequented area with fewer shops than I would have liked. The checkin desk is on the second floor rather than the entrance/first floor, so it's a little confusing. The proprietors used a useful WhatsApp platform that allowed for Spanish/English translation, but they did not speak much English so communication could have been smoother. The hosts were friendly and hardworking, helping whenever they could. The building was clean and functional, and the rooms were nicely furnished, but the central part of the building was fairly basic with no decorations.

Excellent hotel! The hotel employees were excellent and made us feel like family! The only downfall was the water pressure in the shower, but I was told that is expected in Mexico. Will definitely stay there again!

Oaxaca on a budget

This is a good, clean and friendly small spot geared for more casual, thrift travelers, including Mexican nationals. The location is good, and all was fine, except for the noise level of other guests with very loud tv's, radio, etc. until 11:00 pm with no monitoring by the staff. Small rooms, but economical, clean and decently comfortable for a short stay.

The first room was not very clean, and there was mold on the wall. However, when I pointed these out to him, he upgraded us to a better room, which was good. The property's location was excellent—close to the Zocolo, with good neighbours and 24/7 security. The staff aimed to please us, so we would stay there again.

I highly recommend this hotel. The owner/manager is very helpful and warmly welcoming all guests. The chef cooked fantastic breakfast for us each morning. The room we reserved called “Design” room with just full/queen bed and adequate lightings and the bathroom is spacious. The room is well maintained and clean. I would recommend this to anyone who’s coming to Oaxaca and the hotel is just short distance walk to the Centro. I feel safer walking on the streets in the evenings on way back to the room.

First of all the staff is A-1. Ok so as for the hotel location is good but if i go back i would rather stay close to llano Park. (we travel with kids) but the location is very good average. The street become quiet at night, the hotel it self is noisy on the inside the choice of door makes all the guest hear all the guest. Very echo and noisy, every night primor coming after midnight ringing the Bell. It is not optimal for family who sleep early and wake up early. The chair down the first floor are very noisy. The shower ceramic could be cleaned. A little paint in the room and wall crack fixing would be more appropriate according to price.

Property wasn't finished and i feel prices were too height for the conditions of the hotel I couldn't lock the door from inside The main door locking mechanism wasn't working and the security door lock can only be lock from outside . If the room locked from outside i was trap and in case of emergency or earthquake it was going to be impossible to exit . Drainage at shower was poor since water was going to opposite side of drainage . Large sliding doors did not have screen to prevent mosquitos to get inside the room

Pésima opción, ahorren su mala experiencia

Para empezar no quisieron la reserva de Hoteles.com me pidieron el efectivo o transferencia. No son suites es una vecindad donde se escucha todo. Apenas y tienen agua, la zona del hotel no es buena, tú tienes que avisar los servicios de la habitación como la limpieza, toallas, etc. en fin demasiado caro para lo que es.

The free drink is just a water dispenser or cold coffee- that’s the daily manager reception. The room I reserved was not ready so they put me in a different one. I specifically reserved one with a table and 4 chairs and got one with no table and 1 chair.
