Positives: the location is good. We booked the 2 bedroom and the rooms were a nice size. It was nice to have access to a full kitchenette and the fireplace was nice. The pool area was massive and great for kids of all ages.
Downsides: check in wasn't super efficient, and it is annoying that no one is available after hours.
The hot tub was nice the first day, but got gradually colder the second, until it was as cold as the pool the third day. Doesn't seem like anyone is monitoring the temperature daily? When the front desk was told, they didn't seem bothered.
The kids splash pool is also incredibly cold and it was a bit annoying that the only towels available had to be brought from our room. It also wasn't made clear that towels needed to be brought from the rooms at check in.
Our room was right next to the pool entrance, so we heard constant slamming doors from 8am to 10pm.
The rooms were quite dark and the bathrooms did not seem well maintained. One of them had a lingering smell, and the shower units weren't very clean.
We had access to a deck area. Which was nice, but there was metal strapping strewn about.
Finally, the fact that check in is late (4pm) and check out is early (10am) isn't ideal.
