There were roaches in the room, hair in the bed, and nasty stains on every wall. The door knobs were all loose and unsecured. I asked to be moved to another room. There were roaches in that one too and I asked to be moved again. The attendant told me he would have to upcharge me if he gave me the cleaner room. I told him that it’s not my fault there were roaches so I should not receive an upcharge. I have not checked my final bill yet but he did move me to the clean room with no roaches.

I pretty much get the same room everytime I stay here, but it's not my choice. I just ask for the smoking room with a hot tub. This time it appears some minor renovations were done, the room appears to be in better condition but I can't pin-point what has changed. The bathroom can still use work, some new caulk work would brighten up the bathroom. I enjoy my stay here, even hot tub was working fine this time.
