It is more like an upscale youth hostel, only designed for able adults. Lots of stairs, but great convenience to airport and one can even catch a bus right out side for 1 euro and about 15 minutes to the airport. Indeed clean and the bed was very comfortable. About 3/4 km toward town are a field of grazing sheep.

However, please be aware that there are no transport links to/from the airport to the hotel and it is too far to walk, so the only real option is a taxi which cost us 35 euros.

The Isola Guest House was awesome. Very clean, comfortable and lots of restaurants, coffee shop and market within 5 min walk. If you're heading the Fiumicino this place is perfect. This was the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever had in Italy! It’s directly in front of the bus stop. Easy to get to the beach and the airport. The room was clean, modern and well appointed. Great water pressure and plenty of hat water. On a separate note, DO NOT TAKE A TAXI! They wanted 50 euros to go from the airport 1.9 KM. Take the bus. It’s 7 euro.
