Wonderful staff! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. The castle was decked out for Christmas and it looked lovely! We really enjoyed looking around the castle and our room was lovely.

Friendly staff did everything they could with the little resources they have. Wine list with no actual wines to pick beyond the house wines. Don’t use the restaurant and eat somewhere else but come and experience a stay back in time.

We enjoyed the stay at Kokkedal Slotshotel a lot. The castle itself is impressive and cozy, with lots of historical details to get see. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I had made a reservation at Kokkedal Slotshotel by mistake in Jylland, not in Sjælland where there is a hotel by exact the same name. When I showed up it was too late to cancel in Jylland. I was told this is a known problem and happens quite often. After several calls to the hotel in Jylland I still could not get my money back. This is poor quality an service.

Det är ett ställe med potential! Men det står bla att husdjur är välkomna men då blir man utan meddelande nedgraderad från slottet till en lite mindre välskött länga med lägenhet! Här kvaliteten klart sämre och inte så rent, lätt mögeldoft i duschen bla! De faciliteter man skriver om i boendet finns inte här. Mkt hjälpsam personal och OK restaurang. Enkel men bra frukost som ingår. Hade önskat att man inte skriver att husdjur är välkomna när man sedan inte får det boende man beställt! Utan att det klart framgår var man kan bo med hund!

Charmerende omgivelser i slotsmiljøet. Værelset virkede ikke særlig propert, med mange døde fluer i vinduskarm og på hylde under natbord. Badeværelset snavset med hårrester og snavsede fliser med svamp i bruseniche. Elovn meget støvet og fyldt med gammelt snavs. Fjernsynet svært at slukke uden lysende felter på skærmen.Måtte afbrydes ved hovedkantakten.

Stedet levede ikke op til vores forventninger. Vi ankom til en tom parkeringsplads, hvilket allerede gav et underligt førstehåndsindtryk fra start. Der står der er mulighed for opladning af elbil, men det er kun muligt hvis der bliver tændt for strømmen i laden og man benytter mormor kablet. Værelset var ikke rent. Køleskabet var muggent og badeværelset var uhumsk. Indretningen og interiøret er dog flot og autentisk. Desværre blev vi mødt af en grim lugt af skimmel og kloak, da vores værelse lå i tårnet. Personalet er søde og imødekommende, men den samlede oplevelse var utryk og levede ikke op til vores vores forventning til et ophold på et slot.

En stor skuffelse – et slotsophold, der ikke levede op til forventningerne Vi havde set frem til et ophold på et slotshotel med restaurant og god service. Desværre blev oplevelsen en stor skuffelse. Dagen før ankomst fik vi besked om, at restauranten var lukket. Vi blev tilbudt et andet hotel 55 km væk i den modsatte retning af vores videre rejse, så vi måtte i stedet hente pizza på et lokalt pizzeria. Vi fik besked på at tjekke ind før kl. 18, da receptionen derefter ville være lukket. Alligevel var receptionen ubemandet allerede kl. 15.50, da vi ankom. Nøglen hang blot på døren. Der var ingen mulighed for at købe vand eller kaffe. En salgsautomat og en elkedel eller kaffemaskine på værelset ville have været en stor forbedring. Værelset levede ikke op til prisen. TV'et brummede konstant, og underteksterne kunne ikke vises korrekt. Badeværelset var beskidt med snavsede fliser, et jordslået badeforhæng og beskidte vinduesrammer. De fælles opholdsrum var hyggelige, og morgenmaden var udmærket. Medarbejderen ved morgenmaden var venlig og serviceminded. Desværre opvejede det positive ikke den manglende service, den lukkede restaurant og den utilfredsstillende rengøring. Havde vi kendt forholdene på forhånd, havde vi ikke booket opholdet.

Jeg var faktisk rigtig positiv over stedet - fint, gammelt og stilen holdt hele vejen igennem på slottet. Blev dog noget skuffet over der ikke var personale tilgengelig på hotellet efter kl 15, så var der ikke mulighed for noget som helst.

Man føler sig henført til et andet århundrede, så det er sjovt og originalt. Værelset var pænt og rent, men badeværelset skuffede, fordi stilen stak helt ud fra resten af stedet. Larm fra udsugning som var koblet sammen med lyset på badeværelset (sikker af praktiske årsager, men ret irriterende). Fin og rigelig morgenmad.
