Refreshed and they are tr, but only a 2 star motel

I initially confused this hotel with another property, which affected my initial expectations. While I had previously stayed here and had reservations about returning, I noticed some positive changes. The property shows signs of improvement with fresh paint and general updating efforts. However, there are still areas needing attention. The room layout remains awkward, and housekeeping needs more oversight—I found a used soap bar in the shower, marks on the walls, and sand on the floor. While I appreciate the visible attempts to upgrade the property, there's still work to be done to meet basic cleanliness standards. Credit should be given for the renovation efforts, though attention to detail in room cleanliness would significantly improve the guest experience

The place is close to everything stores, restaurants. The only con is that you can hear all the noise from the other room. Other than that it was good.

2025 CCF Trip

Upon checking in, it was done quickly and grateful after a long ride from our home. The front office was very clean and presentable. The room was excellent, smelled so fresh and clean, the beds were made and wish I had my memory foam. Loved the privacy, the food locations were walking distance, Taco Stand, Breakfast at the corner, excellent service, really laid back, across the street was a gas station, 7-11, everything conveniently close by. Even the burger spot was three minutes away Angelo’s Burgers.

Horrible!

Was absolutely horrible!! The room stunk, no heat, blankets were gross. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS MOTEL!! The employees were beyond RUDE!

Quiet and Serene ...

The room was beautifully adorned, with plenty of natural sunlight. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with lots of parking. It's only a short walk to the beach. The staff were very helpful and polite, making us feel right at home. We feel very blessed to have discovered this gem of a hotel!

Nice place to stay.

We stayed 1 night. The room was clean and comfortable but on the small side. They have direct tv channels and good Wifi, There was no coffee in the rooms but they had a fridge and microwave. Would definitely stay here again.

It's a pleasure at the Oceanside inn

Real nice hotel locations great spa restaurants 7-Elevens right across the street and so is a circle k plus it's on a bus route so that's a plus the beds are comfortable they keep the hotel very clean and the grounds are clean and the stuff is very nice

When we would use the microwave and things like that the power would go out in the room a lot so we had to run to microwave every 30 seconds to keep the power from shutting off we've had a couple of ants in a room and we saw a termite in the room other than that it's been pretty good our stay at the Oceanside inn so I'm just you know telling you

it’s a good place to book if you’re there for a short stay. I only stayed one night, but it wasn’t too bad. the parking is a little small, but there’s enough spaces for the amount of rooms there are. the room I stayed in was cute and cozy. the only cons I would say about this place is that the heater wasn’t working well and there wasn’t a window screen in the bathroom. other than that, I would definitely book at this place again if I needed a place to crash after a concert at the frontwave arena.

This property is a work in progress. Some things are new and others not well maintained. Good for only one night. Staff was very nice, good location, comfortable bed and quiet. Hot water for the sink was spotty. For the rate we paid, we could have stayed in Oceanside (CA) at a 3 star property with better amenities.
