Staff were good when they were around. Elevators weren't all working, our room was decent but a lot of dirty markings on the wall and the black out shade was dirty.

Room wasn’t clean with hotel standards, the installations are very worn out. Good area in FIDI, there is a city bank bike station right in front. No help from staff to get transportation to airport but most of the staff were very nice, specially security guy at night, he was very very polite and friendly. Overall an ok stay, but if you are looking to get nice basic amenities DON’T stay here. I forgot to take pictures but their towels are ripped and smell terrible. I had to buy 2 towels to use during my stay since their white linens sucked.

The pictures that are posted on this website for this hotel are amazing. However, the reality of it is false. This hotel room that I stayed in which was the king Luxe room was extremely dirty. The bathroom smelled like urine. I had to have housekeeper come and clean the bathroom upon checking. The carpet was dirty. The walls were dingy. Also, I myself have a king size bed in my home and I do not believe that the king Luxe room was a king bed size. This is not even a decent hotel to stay in. The reason why I gave it us two stars instead of one was because the house cleaning staff was extremely nice. I do not recommend staying here.

Using the service elevators sucked, they smelled and access to the buttons was usually blocked. The shower did not drain, I was standing in 2” of water the entire time. Bathroom lighting was terrible plus there was either no fan in the bathroom or if there was, it didn’t work. I come to NYC often for work, but will not be staying here again. The staff was very friendly though.

Recent issues include: Staff present in my room upon entry (March 2026) Stained sheets (food stains) (April 2026) Non-functioning TV remote (February 2026) Elevators frequently out of service (2 of 3 in March; all 3 in April 2026) Shower drain clogged during use, taking nearly an hour to clear (April 2026) Ongoing signs of mold in the shower While the rooms are generally tidy, they are in clear need of repainting and better maintenance. I continue to book this hotel for its location and value, but the experience has become increasingly disappointing, with no visible improvement over time.

The rooftop hotel is not open. There’s no open balcony at all. Location is wonderful. Staff was so nice but he said he would bring me up my Uber, but yeah he disappeared so staff is not consistent. I don’t think that they should charge what they charge in a hotel you get nothing but a room.

The location was great and view was amazing!! The hotel is hidden and not busy. The room was great for the price. It's not a typical hotel but that made it cool. No amenities that we saw but everything you could need was right out the door.
