Great stay. There needs to be an easy way to get to the lodge from the cabins,

It's a great place to discover Bryce Canyon! Centrally located, everything within walkable distance, nice and friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner are great too. Can only recommend this if you want a hassle free experience of the park. Great hikes.
Johannes, 2-night trip

The property was in the perfect location. Most trails were right outside our cabin. The staff was not the friendliest or most helpful.
Colleen, 2-night trip

We stayed in the lodge cabins because of the location. So close to so many hiking trails, and the night sky is beyond amazing. It was so beautiful.

My mom and I stayed in a western cabin and we absolutely LOVED our stay! The cabin was so cute, very quiet, and easily in walking distance to the main lodge, pizza, coffee, and the amphitheater. We did an entire Grand Circle road trip and Bryce was hands down one of our favorite stops! We loved everything about our stay here. Don’t forget to check out the stars at night. :)

Rooms are dated. To be expected, but for $420 a nights expected better accommodations.

You can’t beat the location. We stayed on the second floor of the sunset lodge hotel, corner room with a great view thru the pines of the sunset. A short walk to the rim with spectacular views of the hoodoos. The room itself was okay as the shower tub had discolored grout and a light was falling off the wall. They were kind enough to spray down the shower with disinfectant to kill any mold/mildew. And tried to fix the light but it fell out of the wall again. Not having A/C was bearable with the use of a fan plus cool nights. Staff was very kind and friendly. Dinner at the lodge was fantastic- had the tuna appetizer, trout and salmon mains- yum!!!

Our room was nice and expensive, as I thought it would be nice to stay near the rim of the canyon. I was not happy with meal options as I had an injury and couldn't sit. The lodge dining room would NOT allow take-out, for any reason citing that if they allowed it for us, they would have to do it for everyone! The only other choice is a small pizza place, but once was more than enough! I had to ask someone to drive to Ruby's, just outside the park. So, eating meals was a huge iissue for me. The plus is that the lodge is within a short walk to the rim of the canyon. My recommendation is to stay at Ruby's, just outside the park. They also have a swimming pool, whereas the lodge does not. For the price, Ruby's would have been a much better choice.

The classic cabin was absolutely what I expected I couldn't complain about anything you have to remember there is no air conditioning in these units. Room service was wonderful as well the only problem I had was checking in with the young lady at the front desk who didn't make me feel very welcome and question my credit card and question my ID even though it was clearly on my Expedia reservation first and last name didn't seem to want to help me turned away several times to take a drink of her drink before acknowledging me. I checked in on the June 19th at 3:00 p.m. so if they want to check schedules to see who's on duty there is two older gentlemen checking people in their customer service seem absolutely amazing.

4/10 Poor

The room is very dark even after turning on all the lights. And the bathroom isn’t cleaned well especially the vinyl wall next to the bathtub. There’s black stains stuck around the handle bar and around the drain area. The restaurant’s vegan options were good and the waiter was attentive. But our dining experience was ruined from the very beginning by the hostess who couldn’t communicate in English properly. She insisted to sit us in a very busy traffic area even after we had asked to sit on the empty table by the window. Then we waited for like 20 minutes before our waiter found us and he said he thought we sitting in a different spot. After ordering the food I finally couldn’t stand the busy traffic that waiters pass by us all the time so I asked another male host to change our table. He helped us to a new table and said he didn’t see why we couldn’t sit by the window which made me wonder the actual reason the first hostess refused our request at all. Another thing is that they obviously don’t intend to keep your things nor reach to you if you forget and left some belongings behind which is what happened to me. The lodge at Bryce Canyon is a national park’s lodge with a very good location to access to the canyons and the daily price is not cheap at all but it does feel like a two star motel regarding the cleanliness and the quality of service. It’s a very disappointing experience.
