Loved the amusing theme to the room. The view was lovely and I enjoyed having an early morning walk straight out the back of the grounds. Howver, the lack of room facilities was a shock. For such an isolated location away from restaurants and shops, I would have expected a toaster, a microwave and some cutlery and crockery to be standard.

Auf einem Trip durch Nova Scotia haben wir in diesem Motel übernachtet. Die View auf die Einbuchtung des Atlantik ist grandios. Es herscht absolute Ruhe. Für eine Nacht ein absolut empfehlenswertes Erlebnis.

Efficient check-in with email of lock combo. Room and bed were good, but the "beach" was disappointing, and neighbors were too loud to enjoy sitting on our porch. No food within walking distance or breakfast available. However, the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.

All motels should be like this!

This motel was fantastic. We were only there for 1 night and didn't arrive until the evening, but it was a great place to rest our head. It felt modern, quirky and clean, the amenities were great. Loved the addition of a balcony with fabulous views of the water, as well as the cute swing. The bathroom was really lovely, and the beds comfy. Very quick response to my message when we arrived. Overall a great stay and would 100% recommend.

The Marmalade Motel is in a gorgeous location with rooms looking across the bay and a lovely deck per room to enjoy the views from outside. The room has all you could need, with fridge, coffee machine, tea bags, and is well sized. The bed is nice though quite squeaky. For exploring the east coast of Nova Scotia it's a great spot. Would stay here again.

Convenient, clean and beautiful location!

Check in was seamless! Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless & comfortable!! We enjoyed sitting outside and walking the property to the water. We enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant and the locals were friendly and spoke well of the hotel owners. We never met them, but commend them on a beautifully ran business. We’d definitely stay again whenever in the area!
