My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights to go to a concert in Brooklyn and explore the city. For the price, you can’t really beat this place. There were a few things we wish they had and I’ll start with those.
There isn’t a safe for important belongings and I definitely think they can add one inside of one of the nightstands. The bathroom had stuff (hardly any) coming from the drains once or twice, which wasn’t a big deal as we just let the water run to rinse it out before going in. No room service so you’d have to empty the trash yourself or just hope you’re not staying long enough where it becomes an issue.
There are many pros that I believe made these cons basically negligible in my overall rating.
There is easy parking behind the building so you don’t have to leave your car at a paid garage. If you’re trying to go to the city, you can easily hop on the A or C train about three blocks down (5 minute walk) and get on there. The lighting was perfect in the room and the staff were extremely kind. They never gave me any issues any time I needed help with something. The sheets, pillows, mattress, and towels were all clean when we first arrived as well. No stains, bugs, spots, nothing. There is ambient sound like the light sound of trains passing by at night which I actually loved. The staff will even ask you if you want to stay in the front or back depending on how much you want to hear that (we chose the back to hear it less).
We loved it, definitely recommend.
