The property is under new management who are currently renovating the rooms and outdoor areas which will be amazing for future guests (there was a note on the table in the room apologising for any inconvenience). However, this unfortunately means that at the moment the amenities advertised online doesn’t match the reality.
The room next to mine was being renovated and as a result, I was exposed to the noise of construction (drilling, hammering, etc) the entire afternoon until 6pm. Although it advertises a pool online, the pool too was being refurbished so looked lovely but had no water in it. Wi-Fi was unavailable due to technical issues - the internet provider was meant to sort it that afternoon but it didn’t happen.
The room, however, was clean and tidy and had sufficient equipment and utensils.
As I said at the start, I think future guests will have a great stay but I do think that current guests should somehow be made aware of the renovations taking place, particularly if you booking a room online. And perhaps the rates should be a little lower during this time to accommodate for the inconvenience - at $150 for the night I guess I expected what was advertised. Not sure if the booking websites are aware of the current renovations and if there is any way they are able to highlight this.
So in reality this is in no way a bad review of the property but rather a comment on the current situation as once the renovations are done, I’m sure it will be amazing
