Nevada, York Beach

The newly refurbished Nevada was beautiful!. The staff was excellent, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and modern. We had a fabulous view of the beach both from our room and from the chairs in the patio outside our door. It was a great escape!!

Perfect solo getaway

Lovely couple nights stay in York. The Nevada is beautifully renovated while still keeping the original retro vibe. Val at the front desk was warm and welcoming. Lovely glass of Prosecco upon check in! Bed super comfy. Great view of Long Sands from the balcony. Lulu’s had a great vibe with friendly waitstaff. The food and drinks were all delicious. I think I just found my new favorite hotel. Can not wait to visit again!

The Nevada in York ME

Hotel was beautiful. Staff very knowable of area. However, mirror light in bathroom not working even though problem known for some time. No instructions for “speaker” in room! No microwave. No ice machine access and none after 4pm when staff leave. Would we go back, probably not unless amenities are upgraded. Too pricey for having any issues.

A real gem in York Beach

The Nevada is wonderful! We really enjoyed our time there and definitely plan to go back. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It's beautifully decorated and so clean. Our room could not have been any nicer...very comfortable and quiet. The Nevada is a very special place!

The Nevada is a perfect beachfront hotel

My new husband and I stayed one night in a beautiful oceanfront room for our wedding night before heading on our honeymoon the next day. Everyone I interacted with at the Nevada were so helpful and kind and allowed us to check in after their front desk closed which was a plus. The room was tastefully designed and so comfortable and the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean was breathtaking-exactly what my husband and I were seeking to unwind in. Having grown up in York Maine gave me sentimental memories and I love seeing that the owners of the Nevada kept the charm of the original building allowing it to blend in with the other long standing cottages and homes on Lond Sands while incorporating upscale modern updates on the inside. If you want a peaceful and cozy stay at the beach The Nevada is a great option! We will be back :)

My boyfriend and I will absolutely be staying here again. This place is newly renovated and is absolutely beautiful. It was spotless and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly. It is right across the street from the beach and our room had a “garden view” but you could see the ocean from the bed. It was great! They have a restaurant/bar right on site so it’s nice to be able to just walk down and enjoy. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Awesome winter beach getaway

The hotel was amazing. Awesome place to stay on the beach in the winter. But the amount charged to my credit card by hotels.com was different (read: more) than what was quoted at the time of booking. This is no reflection on the hotel, the discrepancy was all on hotels.com.

Excellent!

We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect, check in was easy and host was very nice. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated, our room was amazing. My only complaint is that the balcony in front of the glass corner room is a common area. We found this out as we were lying in bed watching TV and some people wandered by and looked into our room. Not a big deal, but we rented that room for the view, not to be the view.

A gem on Long Sands Beach

My husband and I had an amazing little Christmas getaway at The Nevada. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and the view is gorgeous. My only regret is that we weren't there when Lulu's was open! I can't wait to come back in the summer.
