We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bayit, from the pool to the onsite coffee shop. Every thing was great, I would stay here again (: they have no front concierge but that was not a problem at all, they communicated in a very fast manner over email, when I requested early morning check in or had any questions or requests.

A little stark with so much white decor. Great use of space inside rooms with toilets inside shower. A sterile environment visually ...

6/10 Good

Very clean. Not a great location, but pretty property. Need some minor repaid not recommended for ladies with more than one. Only mirror was in bathroom over sink. Bathroom door, a shoji slider left no room for privacy. Could have used some written Instructions with regards to facilities. Best part is Matriarch coffee shop! Good hours, good coffee and good pastries.

One of the cleanest, well designed hotels I've ever stayed. The grounds are manicured, the courtyard surrounding the rentals being simply awesome. The staff was extremely helpful!

Extremely private. Place is clean, upgraded, very nice. Would have been nice to have more time to jump in the pool. Check your email. You have to check in online. There is no receptionist to greet and check you in. Would recommend

Clean room, beautifully decorated, nice amenities, helpful staff, excellent little coffee shop. Very quiet which was surprising due to the closeness of the freeway. Very relaxing pool. The whole environment was very serene and peaceful.

This is a hidden gem located in the Salida/Modesto area. Once you enter the gates, you’re like in a whole New World. It looks to be an old motel turned into a highly sophisticated little hotel. Where they’ve redone each room in a beautiful way. Clean lines great color palette (black and white) and a lot of attention to detail. The pool is really pretty and the outdoor seating areas are as well. There is a coffee shop located within the property as well. It’s a beautiful stay for not a lot of money.

Unique experience. Like the garage right by the unit. The code and nobody in the office was intimidating at first. Once we saw our code opened the gate and room. All went well. Some quirky but cool things like the toilet inside the shower. Nice little coffee/breakfast roll shop. Easy check-in. Would stay again.

Hotel Bayit was a haven during a very difficult week. In a town full of indistinguishable chain hotels, this little hotel is run by a family, and they do an excellent job. The rooms are immaculately clean, the beds comfy, and the food at Matriarch (the cafe on property) is delicious. Can confidently recommend this hotel. In fact, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Modesto.

Excellent hosts clean well appointed room. Much better than the Quinta Inn or any other areal hotels/motels. Quick overnight stay was exceptional.
